First thing this is a people’s place. Employees are awesome with their communication and helpful. Basically you can have your home lunch over here, they have microwave and toaster for customer use. Their drinks are not the best but it is economical compare to other places. You are just going to have coffee or tea so it’s not a big deal!

Nice place to hangout for coffee, tea and pastries. The crowd here always seemed cool. The place tend to be busy especially at weekend nights since they open late till 1am. They have board games too just like most of coffee shops around town. Staff are friendly and accomodating.

It was awesome! Great views, good coffee. Awesome hours. Nice and clean with decent prices - a good value. The chalkboard in the bathrooms was a fun touch. The staff are nice and professional too and very fast.

Sunset Coffee is a little gem of a spot nestled in blah, blech suburban Midvale. Tucked into the corner of a strip mall, one would not expect it to have the best coffee shop view in the valley. The rear deck has a panoramic of the entire Salt Lake Valley. It's worth the trip just for the view and it makes the coffee acceptable. The coffee is roasted in-house and they offer some decent varietals for retail sale. I found the baristas very pleasant and had great customer service. The prices are reasonable, but the coffee itself is pretty typical, over-roasted in the American style, and cognoscenti will find it bitter. I would go back just for the patio view and service. There is also a heated part of the patio *ahem* 25 feet from any entrance.

Sunset is the best place to go if you just want to chill/study/work on a project/ get away from the world. I have never had an issue with the staff here. They are always welcoming, kind and are willing to help or get you a drink that best meets your needs.

The place has been here for as long as I can remember. They have had a lot of renovations in the recent years. They were once a much smaller cafe but bought the location next store and expanded. Since then they have painted the walls and the place is a lot cozier. Also, as it is the name of the cafe, they have a great view of the valley and every evening you have a first class seat to an amazing sunset.

Only thing I would tell someone to be aware of is there is a lot of smokers/vapers. I know that is a deal breaker for some people but as long as you stay upwind from them, they have never really been a problem for me.

This spot is a Salt Lake area staple. The staff are friendly, there are a variety of drinks for any type of coffee or tea drinker, the patio has lovely views on a nice day (hence the name), and my dog likes to come along sometimes too.

The staff is great here. They take the time to get to know almost all of their customers, and if you go often enough they start to predict your order, and often are starting on it as they are making sure that is what you want. While I like quaint little shops, if you enjoy coffee and a great place to visit, this is a must visit.

Love this little coffee shop, especially the frozen Voldemort and Stevie Wonder. This is a place I keep coming back to and tell all my friends to try if they want the small coffee shop feeling. They also have free wifi which is a bonus. Perfect place to get some work done or homework.
