Café on 1st

I love this coffee shop so much! They have amazing baristas, amaaazing food (sandwiches, breakfast items, curry, and more! - and it’s all made in house!) the owners are amazing too, and the art on the walls is always changing, which I love. Shouts out to cafe on 1st!

avacado toast is so good! such a great location too. me and my dog sat outside and it was just beautiful. love the vibes and the food and coffee was yummy yummy!!!

Atmosphere is dingy and unfriendly. Decor is unappealing and awkward. The food was average and forgettable. Prices were higher than they should have been. But the food was made relatively quickly and the guy who helped me was pretty nice. I wouldn't recommend it and won't be returning.

My wife and I come here to hang out and do work. It's a great place to get a drink, which are great, and relax. The WiFi is good and the service has been really friendly and courteous... Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in Salt Lake.

As a coffee lover, I like trying new places. This location offers s great product, but I felt it was slightly overpriced for what I ordered...$6 for a 24 oz drink. I guess that's standard. Overall, though, I had a great experience.

Easily one of the best in the city. Such a great staff and the menu is legit

This is a cozy place filled with couches in the avenues; aside from their teas and Thai coffee, their regular coffee is not my favorite. However, all of the food on their menu is great and their massaman curry is terrific and not watered down. They have WiFi available to the public so it's also a good place to get work done if you're a college student or have to work remotely.

Chai is always great, dining area has reopened, and the staff is as friendly as ever. Gotta love Cafe on 1st. Could use more decorations inside the dine in area tho.

I really like this place. I do wish they had a better seating arrangement though. When it is busy the amount of chairs and tables make it a little difficult to navigate the space. Otherwise the coffee is good. Try the ginger late, it is delicious!

Ah, Café on First, I didn't care much for you a year ago, but now? I came back to give you a second chance and I am so very impressed with the friendly staff and delicious food. I love the vibe and the local art on the walls. I'm so glad I tried you again!!

Street parking only. The lot is for the apartment tenants.
