Sugar Bean Bakery Utah

I wish I could offer a review of the baked goods but since the $135 of cookie kits that I paid for were never received I can’t.

I honestly made a mistake thanks to Google….lol! I searched best sugar cookies in Galveston Texas and ended up seeing tons of reviews for Sugar Bean. I searched Google for Sugar Bean Bakery in Galveston and there was a Facebook link to this bakery in Utah. Nothing on the pages that I saw from the link (on my phone viewing not a computer) or any of the pages to which I processed my order said anything about Utah. It said Richfield but I didn’t know that Galveston didn’t have a suburb called Richfield because I’m not from there. As soon as I realized the mistake, I contacted the shop owner who refused my refund. This I understood.

She gave me options. To try and sell them and if she did, she would refund what she sold. She also offered to overnight or ship two days on December 22, telling me that I needed to respond by 9 pm to have them mailed. I assumed this meant that the local UPS store was open until 9 pm like mine at home is. Well, she didn’t mail them until the 23rd and didn’t let me know when 2 day shipping was going to take 5 days. She knew that we were traveling and staying at a vacation rental. She didn’t know when we were leaving. She didn’t ask. However, if something is going to take 5 days when you call it 2 day shipping, you should reach out to the customer. She didn’t.

She also wasn’t nice about it, didn’t care that we weren’t getting cookies that we paid over $200 for and was overall terrible in the customer service department.

Absolutely delicious. We had the walnut brownies, a cinnamon roll, a lemon scone, sour cream coffee cake and a cookie and it was all excellent. Their breakfast sandwiches were tasty and filling. Everything was made fresh. The ladies there were friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend Sugar Bean to anyone passing by.

Good breakfast burrito, great pastries, friendly staff, and the building was beautiful.
