Java Junkies is a great place for coffee and hanging out. The owner is really nice and you can always see him in the shop working on things. The staff is great too. We had a drink order that came out incorrectly and the staff was quick to make it right.
I stepped in and was instantly blown away by how personable, friendly and laidback everyone was. This is a heavenly retreat from the “dog eat dog” and once I actually try their coffee I’ll come back to leave another review. But the friendliness deserves its own review!! 5 stars all the way!!! I’m back! I tried their coffee and it’s all the way yummy and I love how they’re all named after famous cultural icons because this coffee shop embodies and hosts the culture of downtown Provo. The next one I want to try is the Raspberry Beret! Everyone there is friendly and relaxed and I can’t wait to come back to enjoy some live music and feature my art for the art stroll.
Great choices. Wonderful atmosphere. Amazing artwork, especially this month. Friday night open mic is a great time to enjoy and support local musicians.
Love Java Junkie but for some reason never have had a good experience at the Provo location. My order has always been wrong and I go home with horrible coffee . my order always taste rushed but takes longer than necessary to be made
Really really cool set up for a coffee shop, although it may be a little small for my preference.
So, I don't know how long this place has been open, but I don't remember seeing it in my prior drives home. (I drive by the street a few times a month.)
Upon walking in, I love how the different variety of colors there are, in the couches. It is sweet that to the right, it looks like there is an area for Open Mic night, some nights. I also liked how there were some couches, but also some tables and chairs, depending on how comfy you wanted to be there. Haha.
Apparently, this is connected to a second story, and when you walk up the stairs you go up to a barber shop.... Which, I think is a great blend, of mixing a coffee shop, with a barbershop.
The place is pretty good, but, I really feel as if the employees were all that friendly, or interested in welcoming me to. (That may be my bad. Haha. I probably need to stop wearing camouflage shirts, out in public. Haha!)
Amazing coffee and service. First time here and it was amazing and so good. The decorations are so good. I had the Caramel drink 16oz, after finishing that drink had to come back again for one more.
Incredible customer service, wonderful vibe, and Jess, Julia, and Chelsea are exceptional baristas!!! Ask about the "Van by the river" bagel sandwich, and either a "Carmel Cobain" coffee, or the "Heart breaker" (hot, iced, or blended)! ❤ And on Friday's don't miss out on open mic night!!!! Best kept secret! You must come check out this place, and tell your friends. If you aren't careful you'll fall in love with it, and the people, just like we did!!!
Amazing coffee and great customer service. Got to speak with Mark the owner about it and I really enjoyed the live music they had. The menu was actually unique compared to many coffee shops I've been to in Texas. Once I visit Utah again, I'm coming back here.
