At this place you'll be treated with smiley faces and people who know what they're doing with coffee. I've been there when it's slow and busy and both you get your coffee quick and good. It's a good place to just stop and get a coffee or stop and get a coffee with a friend and play chess, or read a book or whatever you expect out of a coffee shop they got and more.

We experienced extremely poor customer service by the manager and the young girl that works there. This place could not make a descent drink if they tried, by the way they donโt try! Donโt bother asking for the Manager or expect him to fix anything. He is completely incompetent. If there was a TV show โCoffee Shop Rescueโ this place should be on the show. They need customers more than we need them. Urine would taste better than any coffee, latte, or drink this place can produce.

Nice scenery, nestled against Wasatch mountains. Coffee locally brewed and staff very pleasant and knowledgeable. Retro building adds to ambience. Books for reading at you leisure. Highly recommend this cool coffee shop.

Best coffee i have found in Utah. Love this place! Plus the owners are super cool! Must go place. As an added bonus they have a cute book exchange program. Highly recommend.

Always very friendly staff. I love going to grounds for coffee because i love shopping small business and i love the coffee every single time. I dont have a regular drink just whatever the barista recommends and have never been disappointed.

We love this little shop. The staff is always so sweet and the drinks are great. Lavender London Fog is one of my favs!

What's better than the aforementioned quality service and coffee? The incredibly attractive female baristas! Hey, I don't mean to be a creeper, but let's be honest fellas, it's always a plus when there is a very cute, smiling face, providing you with your favorite beverage. Kudos ladies. Respectfully, of course.

We love all of the GFC franchises but this is by far our favorite. The location isn't the easiest, and can be a bit stressful when theyre busy but the staff is efficient and super friendly every time and that makes up for it tenfold! We've never been dissappointed with our beverages and the pastries are delcious! The cranberry and orange muffin is our favorite. We will always come back for more!

Horrible....๐๐๐โ๐ท.... I've been going to this location for 20+ years, and it's always been a favorite... until my most recent visit which was most likely my last. I traveled an hour to meet family there who had also traveled an hour from the opposite direction.
We must have stood at the order counter at least 10 minutes without being greeted. One employee looked at us, but literally turned and walked away even after I greeted HIM. That same employee didn't speak a single word to us in the hour we spent there. He did clean the restroom, but also got extremely, silently, pushy when my daughters and I were in the restroom washing up before traveling home. Perhaps he's nonverbal? If that's the case, it'd be nice if he wore a name badge indicating such. If he's actually just not speaking by choice, customer service might not be the place for him to work successfully. I remained friendly toward him the entire time, and he still didn't acknowledge my thanks and have a nice day as we were leaving. It was very odd and uncomfortable.
The employee who did finally take our order, walked to the counter and stood there waiting for us to speak. I had a question about a coffee and he just stood there, sort of looking at me. We placed our order and he just walked away. Didn't ask for payment, give a total, repeat our order, say he'd be back.... Nothing. He just walked away.. LOL ๐ It was SO odd!!! We sat down in hopes he'd actually taken our order and would get it prepared.
About TWENTY MINUTES LATER, he put our order on the counter and looked at us. We assumed it was ours since we were the ONLY people who had ordered during the crazy wait time.
He took our payment and walked away again without any common customer service. I thanked him, told him to have a nice day, etc.... Nothing back... LOL
Then the coffee tasted less than great and my 4 year old daughter's hot chocolate was STEAMING hot with no ice available to cool it. It wasn't even worth trying to get someone's attention to ask for some.
Luckily we were in good company, but it was embarrassing after telling them about this "awesome little coffee shop". I just had to sort of giggle my way through the entire oddly awful experience.
The place was clean as usual and they had nice music playing, so it wasn't ALL bad. ๐

I love that they were fast and friendly did not mind us asking what the drinks were or what was better. The hot coco was great my girls loved it and as for my white chocolate caramel frappe it was perfect. Definitely going to make Future stops
