The restaurant setting is great. The views, the atmosphere all very nice. The service was good when the staff is at the table but a little lacking when they are not. Have to fight to get their attention when something is needed, like a bar refill. The food was pretty unremarkable just okay. Tastes like a lot of pre-packaged ingredients are used to make the sauces and dressings. Was still nice and had a good time. But if you are not staying at the resort I’m not sure it would be worth the trip to try. If the kitchen could step up the food it would be much better

I love this place. The food isn’t quite as good as it was several years ago. The ambience and fireplaces. So cozy. Always a great dining experience and healthy options. My only complaint is that they no longer offer grass fed beef on the menu. The steak I ordered today was just not good. Not a quality cut of beef but everything else is wonderful here.
Bring back pasture raised chicken, wild caught fish and grass fed beef options. Please!

We visited with friends to try the Sunday brunch. Although the restaurant and setting is nice, with comfortable chairs, there is some improvement (at least on the day we were there 3/19/23). The live music was a nice touch for sure. The spread was thorough, maybe too thorough, as many of the dishes were cold, including the coffee that was served. We don't understand not bringing clean silverware when taking a plate away. Is this a higher end place or not, what type of environment is this business trying to project? Additionally, what is the 15% service fee for? There is a tip line on the ticket as well. Hmm...may have to rethink this before trying again.

The outside patio with it's small fountain and cooling mist is a lovely place to sip a cocktail and enjoy a bite. The menu offers an adequate, but uninspired, selection of fish, meat and vegetarian options. As for the staff , they were barely polite. They took 10 minutes to seat us when the place was empty and we had a reservation. They also seemed upset when we asked for a table outside.

Ok plus today. Previous visits seemed more generous and better tasting. Both my wife and myself slightly disappointed today

This restaurant was just okay. Most of the party had good meals (elk, chili, basil cashew pasta). The burger was absolutely horrible. It tasted like grill. For the price, I was expecting higher quality food…My dad and I both got this dish and couldn’t even finish it. Our service was decent! Couldn’t complain about that. And the atmosphere was very nice. Wouldn’t be a restaurant I would return to though due to food quality.

Genuinely one of the most disappointing experiences. My wife and I visited for our anniversary, and while the resort is fantastic, this restaurant did not match in quality. The food is pretty expensive for the subpar quality that you end up getting. My wife's steak ($28) was overcooked and turned into a dry, wet sand in your mouth with hardly any flavor. My grilled mushroom was fine but its a grilled mushroom and mash potatoes for $26. It seems like a restaurant that is upcharging you for the location but it's frankly not worth it. The interior was reminiscint of a senior living home cafeteria, with dirty chairs and barren walls. Service was fine. Another couple there seemed to be in the same boat as they left with sullen faces too. For how incredible the rest of the resort is, this was such a disappointment.

3 stars are for the views and the staff. Outstanding. The food is subpar. It’s not the worst I’ve eaten but $28 for over cooked weirdly sweet chicken wasn’t great. Husband had the $28 steak, also not great. The cut of meat was greasy, not very good. The bread was delicious. The dessert was pretty good. Also BEWARE, they add 15% gratuity to the bill and don’t tell you. I would have tipped on top of that if I hadn’t been paying attention.

The staff was exceptional and the eggplant dish I had was amazing!

Loved this restaurant. Great views, amazing food, pleasant staff. Would definitely return for the rack of lamb... Fish dishes and butternut soup were delicious too. Would definitely return when in town... Hotel is highly recommended as well.
