Great coffee shop. The coffee is amazing, and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

I purchased a package of their coffee at Harmon's about a week ago and it has been absolutely delicious.
When I realized the beans were roasted locally I did a little research and found this coffee shop.
The environment is a little bit different than most coffee shops, not better or worse just different.
I got a 16 oz pour over, and it was a little pricier than say Starbucks or beans and brews, but the moment you have your first sip you know where that extra dollar or two went.
The draper location is a little far from me, but apparently they have two more that I need to go try. And I certainly will.
The coffee is delicious, try them, you will not be disappointed.

Really hate to say it, but i probably won’t be returning to this location. I love the la Barba in salt lake and I love the coffee, but the Solstice hot chocolate used here and at Caputos is amazing. I’ve come here before and had the hot chocolate and it was amazing, but I took a friend tonight to try it and it tasted like warm milk. I had extra chocolate added to mine and my friends and she agreed that there was zero taste of chocolate in the drink. Super disappointing to pay $4+ for warm milk when it’s supposed to taste like drinking chocolate, but whatever. I’ll be going further north to caputos or la Barba in the future.

Great coffee and espresso options! All the items I have tried have been very smooth and flavorful!
My only gripe is the baristas seem to not be in much of a HURRY to complete your order (especially before 8am... I am headed to work)

Finally, La Barba is bringing great Coffee to Draper. Their Downtown location is already awesome but this new location is more spacious and serves food too.
There are a bunch of different coffee houses in Salt Lake City, but none is as good as La Barba.
I have been living in different place around the world, and sometimes it can be a challenge to find good coffee. Even though Salt Lake has a bunch of coffee roasters and coffee houses, there is not a single one that has a roast as unique and well balanced as La Barba. The roast they use is more on the medium side and once you have been there you will come back as it has something unique to it.
Despite to their quality roast, their baristas know how to make a coffee beverage in the right way. If you order a Cappuccino or a Flat White here, it is done the way it is supposed to be done. The milk has the right temperature, the right texture and is where it is supposed to be in the cup.
Their baristas are all super friendly. Once you go there a few times they'll certainly remember you and you can have a nice little chat while they work their coffee magic.
Love this place, by far my number 1 in town.

Chill vibe at this location. High-end flavor profiles. Staff is equally chill and very helpful. I go here for a smooth beautiful cup of coffee.

Man alive. It’s like I’m not even in the US anymore- like I was instantly transported to a quaint cafe in Sevilla or something. Do yourself a favor and try an unflavored latte here. The beans alone have all the sweetness and flavor complexity you’ll ever desire. And the perfectly velvety milk is the best possible vehicle on which to deliver this deliciousness. Color me impressed.

My hubby and I always stop off at La Barba when we head anywhere near Draper (we live in Orem). Their coffee is top notch (and the ice they use for iced coffees is extraordinary). I love that their vanilla is made in-house and they never over-do it like most coffee shops. Their modern setting and garage door/patio are the cherry on top to this favorite coffee shop of mine!

I spent a year as a barista, studied coffee at a college education (yes I know that sounds stupid but it was part of the job) as a college student I spend much of my time exploring coffee shops playing chess and doing homework. With all this I can confidently say LA Barba is one of the best coffee shops around Utah and has some of the best baristas I have seen. Definitely recommend, plus the menu is simple but yet amazing. Great food items

This is a lovely modern coffee shop with high quality coffee, and it's a great place to get some work done. My only problem is that EVERY time I say I'm staying, I still get a takeaway cup. I see the mugs behind the counter, so I'm not sure if it's just the employees reluctance to wash the mug later or what. I always bring a resusable takeaway cup with me when I'm not staying at a cafe, so the unnecessary waste is irritating.
