The French Spot

I’ve been twice now, both times just a couple days apart. The first time I went, the person who took my order sort of acted like she absolutely hated that I was there. Usually when that happens, it just means they’re likely having a bad day. Maybe they had a really rude customer before me? I remained as polite as possible and waited for my order. Crepe was great, macaron was DELICIOUS.

I offered to buy my roommates some macarons, so I came back a couple days later to buy more, and the same lady was at the front. She would cut me off mid order and display the same sort of attitude as the other day. Snappy, apathetic, and unpleasant. I’m really not the type of person to leave critical reviews, but I feel like ya’ll need to know, lol. It’s so sad because the food is genuinely delicious, but I’m afraid to go back because I feel like the staff is going to hate me for daring to walk into their shop.

The food was delicious! Had the Atlantic salmon and butternut squash quiche. Simple and so flavourful!

Delicious, delicate, and a very pleasant experience. The croissants were the perfect amount of crispy and flaky with great flavor.

Wow. Everything was absolutely delicious. The latte was excellent, the butternut squash quiche was amazing, the croque monsieur was the best I’ve ever had. We also got an almond croissant that was so so good. Super cute inside too.

Went here to try the pastries and gelato. We had a berry tart. It was pretty good. Their gelato was real tasty.

Excellent Service and Food. The breakfast croissants were delicious as well as the crepes and macarons. The coffee was also great. You can tell the employees truly care about giving great service. Everything looks very clean as well.

Great place to hang and get a coffee or something from their delicious food menu.

I love this place. The chocolate and almond croissants are must order. They are definitely made with real butter and have lots of lovely layers. Everything I have had there is very yummy. The service can take a while, but the staff are friendly and you can people watch while you wait in the outdoor dining area. They do not have an indoor dining space which may be a problem for some.

I love this place! Their new indoor dining on Main Street is great. I had the filet and my wife had the salmon. Both were amazing. Their pastries are the best. I feel like I am in a little cafe in Paris when I eat here. Wonderful service and food.

Quiche took 55 min as they forgot about my order. I would have been ok with that if it was good. Latte was below average too making this an expensive lunch (20 bucks) that took way to long.
