Bluebird Cafe

Ive been a customer since I moved here. I found this gem by accident. First off this diner is in downtown Wills Point, America. A very tiny hick town with not alot to work with. A very tiny diner with a huge variety menu.something for every appetite and the quality is almost like home made. The prices are extremely fair and Id even suggest they raise their prices but because of WP clientele they wouldn’t eat there. Very selfish!!!! You get what you pay for and McDonalds is a walk across the street. Burger basket w/home made fries and drink for less than $8?????? With a basket and wax paper and handnade patties and sweat on a bun??? That doesnt exist anymore! But they have it! Homemade dessert with real sugar! Home brewed ice tea and tex mex entrees made by Mr.Carlos himself! Free wifi and TV. The atmosphere and even delivery is available!!!! This is one of the finest diners anywhere and they are doing what alot of America is long gone! The staff are friendly and I love the way they hand write your orders. Thats a given. I served for 25 yrs on the strip with the largest gaming casinos in the world. I trained people at William Fisk steakhouse. I opened to restaurants for Harrahs and also worked along with the top flair bartenders in the world. I know food and the industry. Its a sad world when a gem has to compete with lousy processed food places like McDonalds, Subway and DQ . Scratch food vs processed. And to think they dont have taste buds , merely only caring about prices for food. Ever heard of supporting local? Eating here is. Not at fast food. Your only supporting a large corporation who could care less about quality of food or service or even better cleanliness. Oh well, at least and hopefully tourists and travelers will read the reviews and swing by and be pleased. Anywhere else in America this place would be a restaurant and packed to the door even with higher prices! People here have money. They just want to be stingy and get something for nothing. I hope someday Bluebird cafe grows large with the same method of buiness. America appreciates a gem like this!!!

Food was great! I loved it! People were very nice and helpful. GREAT PLACE!

The burgers are dry! The cake is dry! The menu is over priced and the prices on the menu are not the prices that are charged when you pay. The staff was rude. I asked the cashier if she was having a nice day and she said “I was until right now”. Awkward!!

I will first and foremost say food was amazing but No waitress for the price there should be one with all the employees standing around and the tables being sticky was also a negative and the price don't match to the prices on the menu on the website floor is also sticky near restroom

I have enjoyed great food and service for around 4 yrs now. Also has a good down home atmosphere. I recommend to stop by and give them a try!
