Northside Remedy

Bartender was very attentive. We had the flat bread pizza which was pretty good. Cocktails were a little expensive. Overall a very nice experience.

Always loved this place. The drinks are amazing! However, our last visit they had changed the food menu. Basically they just have pizza now. Really disappointed 🙁

Really cool atmosphere. Good coffee, although it is a more traditional menu if you only drink at Starbucks. Has more of a social gathering vibe than being a place to sit behind a laptop or book all day. Great staff, very courteous and enthusiastic. Haven't tried the food, will try out though on my next visit.

Update: this is my favorite coffee shop. Fantastic vibes, good music, great staff. Food is diverse so you can enjoy comfort food or try something new (I always approve serving breakfast all day). I have never had a bad cup of coffee or tea here—great lattes and London Fog—the muffins are amazing. I easily spend 4 hours here writing and enjoying the menu items.

Great cocktails and little meals. Outside seating and live music was a great option on this beautiful night.

Very good. I especially liked the Caramel Apple Old Gashioned and the Cajun Shrimp skillet. The flatbreads were also very good!

Very chic atmosphere with a large selection of drinks. Greet meeting spot to brings friends or business partners.

Overall a very positive experience. Good drinks and food. Only complaint is the grits. I think the people cooking food need help to head to Louisiana and eat grits. These grits were dry and looked like rice.

I had possibly the best restaurant salad of my life here in November’22 (keto version). The drinks are great, try the mezcal / sage drink if you love margaritas w/ a twist & kick back. The atmosphere is perfect.

Northside Remedy

Blake and I walk through the front patio into the door, immediately we were both slammed with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

The solid wood bar top is warm and welcoming, and the quiet bustle of a few seated parties is lingering throughout the room.

The second we step into the door we are greeted with smiles By Cameron and Collin.
“Blake, Ray, How we doing today” Collin Asks?
We both smile back, it’s a warm feeling to be greeted by name.

We approached the bar and it began to seem like both of us were unsure of what beverage we were craving most, one thing for sure we weren’t craving coffee, until now!

After moments of pondering I proceeded to get the plutonium coconut porter. It super dark, but not near as mean as it looks.
Cameron began filling my pint mug, as Blake decided she did in-fact want some coffee. “An espresso, with a double shot of Rum Chata please”. We both look at each other with a shared interest, as I now contemplate my initial decision.

Before walking away with our beverages, we decided to try out a few of the Appetizers. A Caprese Skewer, and an order of Deviled eggs yum!!

The outdoor seating area has plenty of shade, as well as fans to keep air circulating, so we opted to sit outside and watch the traffic pass as we talked about our day and enjoyed our drinks.

A few Minutes later I spot Cameron out of the corner of my eye, headed over with appetizers. My initial reaction to the deviled eggs, “How in the world did they get that much bacon on there!?”

The presentation of the Caprese was that of a 5 ⭐️ restaurant, and yes Blake single handedly finished the entire thing. “The Balsamic was perfect” she said, “and the tomato’s were soo sweet!”
For me the deviled eggs were filling and reminded me of the holidays as a kid. My brother would eat the filling from grandmas deviled eggs and give me the egg whites, at the time I didn’t realize how bad I was being cheated. 😂

As we close our tab we’re both smiling, the stress of the day is gone, traffic has died down, and the daily rat race is ending.

We will certainly be back to visit again. I’m extremely excited to spend some chilly winter afternoons on the patio with a giant Cappuccino or hot chocolate.
