I'm a door dasher. I pick up orders here quite a bit. But I GUARANTEE I will NEVER get food for me at this location ever again. I'm waiting for my order and the cook comes up grabs a kolache out of the warmer with his bare hands. Goes back to his station. He's eating it with his bare hands while prepping food!!

Edit: after months of being on my blacklist.. I decided to give them another try. I wish I could put an edit to say that they are doing better but they are not. I only ordered one thing and that was a chocolate-filled doughnut. Get to my car open the bag only to grab something that's felt wet and cold like it came out of the freezer. Tell me this isn't leftover from yesterday or some other day and it's just been in the freezer and not even properly thawed out before given to customers? Could they not have at least tried to defrost them? I'm NOT eating this!!
This is the second time I've been disappointed by overcooked, hard, and hard to eat food from this location. I let the first oneslide and have it another try and was let down again. So I'm still hungry because I couldn't eat over half of the bread on kolache, from it being so hard. You could actually visibly see that it was split and cheese melted and burned out of it, yet they still have it out to me.

Super fast, very friendly, and yummmmmm at the food! I got 1/2 a dozen sausage & cheese kolaches, some donut holes, a chocolate covered Bavarian filled donut (my absolute favorite) and my daughter got an iced caramel coffee. Great prices!

Easily the greatest Kolaches I’ve ever tried. I was honestly very satisfied with the quality and care that goes into every donut and Kolache at this location. The staff was all friendly and maintained a positive environment with an easy going environment. I always stop at this Shipleys whenever I am in Waco and I have always been extremely satisfied and happy with my visit to this location. The fresh glazed donuts are to die for and worth asking about as well. 🍩
