Suzy Q’s Coffee Shop and Café

Usually I’m pretty skeptical about ordering food to go but it was soooo yummy!!! I’ll definitely be ordering here again and hopefully will get the time to go in and sit down. 10/10 would recommend

My wife and I stopped for lunch when passing through Temple on April 23. Dining area was spotless, sandwiches were incredible, service impeccable, staff super friendly, and the desserts to-die-for. Portions were generous. Suzy Q’s exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Looking forward to stopping in next time we pass through. Hopefully can time the next visit at breakfast so we can try their coffee drinks and breakfast menu. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of eating here this morning for breakfast. The staff is super friendly and the owner is right there along with the staff working and attending to customers. This morning I had a coffee, beignets and my first ever lux and cream cheese. I was terrified to try it but the owner’s description and encouragement gave me the courage to try it and I’m glad I did! The cafe has a relaxing atmosphere and everything was amazing. I’ve ordered to go here for lunch three other times. Each time the food sandwiches were amazing. You can tell that the owner really has a passion for cooking and trying new things. I love that she has new items along with a stable of regular items. The menu offered new items that we don’t have in temple. It really is a breath of fresh air and would most defined recommend trying it.

I had the breakfast melt with mayonnaise & it was the breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The croissant was toasted perfectly. Great service & delicious food!

Wow! We just found our new favorite restaurant in Temple! Everything was so fresh and delicious! The owner and staff are so friendly and the service is excellent! Absolute perfection!

Delicious ! EVERYTHING we had was delicious. Friendly, open atmosphere. Super clean. They even have gift cards ! ( I had to ask, they weren’t advertised anywhere).
We will definitely be back.

Excellent food with a nice variety and a focus on your typical American foods. Tired of Asian or Tex-Mex? This is your place! A great addition to the areas food choices. A comfortable cafe with a nice selection of menu items and a very attentive staff eager to assure your visit is the best! The breakfast is excellent! Highly recommend you try this wonderful cafe!

We finally got to visit this new cafe. It is located where the Old English Bakery was. It was one of our faces, and we were excited to see a new locally owned business move in. Everything we had was delicious. The beignets are a must have if you are drinking coffee. They aren't big, so they disappear quickly. The cinnamon rolls are huge. Don't let the lower price fool you on those. One of my favorite things on the menu is the monte cristo. I love these sandwiches and they aren't very common on restaurants any more. And
....it's awesome. This is also something that is definitely that could be split because it is gigantic. We had a new waitress and had a little trouble with a couple of items and an error on the ticket. The owner was kind and corrected the error even after I had paid and then realized the error. Be careful, as it is easy to spend more than you plan because you start to order with your stomach and eyes.

First visit. Very friendly staff. Had soup and half of a sandwich and both were delicious. Would definitely go back and recommend to everyone.

The food was excellent and the service was great we have been looking for a place like this for quite a while. Enjoyed everything about it. Thank you ladies.
