Really exceptional. Hand made waffle cones, splendid homemade ice cream flavors, made in house! Nice coffee and lattes. Kitschy, with vintage games for kids of all ages to play.

What a gem! Absolutely fabulous ice cream made at the store with stunning flavors, some available to take home in pints. Great service, terrific atmosphere (including outdoor and windowfront seating looking out on picturesque downtown Sulphur Springs,) and a wide variety of gift and novelty items round this place out as a must-experience destination.

Awesome ppl and amazing ice cream. The bourbon one was great, just a bit strong.

Great ice cream! Friendly owner and staff. Fun stuff to do inside for the kids and adults.

Fantastic homemade ice cream! T-shirts, kids items, decor, artwork, & gifts. Different special flavors every time you visit! It’s a must-stop in Sulphur Springs.

We are from out of town and we're driving around town checking everything out... the place stood out. We learned and enjoyed some homemade ice cream. The girl working gave great suggestions and let us try a few before we settled on banana pudding in a homemade waffle cone and the fudgey cookie batter! They were great and the store looked fun. They have a space upstairs to enjoy your treat. Definitely worth the stop in!!!

Welcoming atmosphere! plenty of ice cream options, shaved iced, coffees, and games. Im lactose intolerant and there are consistently new dairy free ice creams I can have, which is huge!

Today, we stopped at The Magic Scoop in Sulphur Springs after lunch. There's no way you can cannot be happy after visiting this place! It's a classic ice cream shop that is a miss-mosh of 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. Ice cream cones, sundaes, malts, classic candies, soda pop in bottles, and even Connect Four and Rock'em Sock'em Robots at the tables. All ice cream made in house. AND it's good. Great atmosphere.

My husband and I visit this place regularly because we love it so much. They offer a great variety of flavors and often switch them out for new ones. Sometimes that means that your favorite flavor will be gone for a little bit, but they have a good rotation going. It's always thick scooped ice cream with great flavor. My favorites are Just Chocolate, Strawberry, Peanut Butter Chocolate, and London Fog. The biggest drawback to Magic Scoop for me is the maze of retail items that take up so much space that could be used for seating and make it difficult to move through the store. It's hard to maneuver through the merchandise to reach the bathroom if there's more than a few people in the store. Fortunately, it is located on the square and there is plenty of non-crowded seating outside.

One of my favorite places on the downtown square! Such a neat shop and the best ice cream!
