This place is aesthetically nice but the food service is not so good. I waited for an hour to get an omelette. Very disappointing. I probably will not be returning.

Amazing spot! The exterior detail is authentic to the area but modernized and the interior offers perfect vibes! You have to try the reuben sandwich.

This place has something that most places miss anymore. There is great appreciation given to you for being their customer. We were waiting for a fresh pot of coffee, and we were offered a mimosa while we waited. Way above and beyond. Thank you! When you walk in the door it is not what you expect to see in a Ghost town. I will always stop in and get coffee anytime that I am in the area.

Good food! The fajitas were amazing! The cafe had a whole burning man vibe to it and very different from the other restaurants and cafes around here. Nice friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The irony hits the minute you walk in the door, as the mannequin at your right bears a tee with the hashtag 'not like marfa' and the place is exactly like Marfa. Or Los Angeles. Or the new, gentrified Portland. There is nothing about this place that is Terlingua, except that it has been plopped down IN this otherwise authentically rustic, lonesome, and windswept landscape.

The food takes quite a while (think 45 minutes to an hour wait on a breakfast burrito), but that's understandable due to the tourist crowd it attracts.

The food I tried (said burrito) was nothing special, but the coffee is good and refills free.

The wifi is the best in the area though, so if you're a cafe rat like I am it's worth it just for that.

For an authentic Terlingua experience, visit the Tin Barn off Hwy 118 across from the American Legion, or shop for second chance items at Otra Vez on Saturday and Wednesday mornings. Drop any donations you might have at the Crisis Center in the Ghost Town, or leave your sorted recycling with the volunteers Saturday mornings off the road to Terlingua's high school.

Terlingua is growing while maintaining a steady draw for vacationers; just don't come to Venga in search of anything Terlingua. The mannequin must be wearing that tee to be ironic.

Made fresh! We ordered breakfast burritos after a hike and thoroughly enjoyed them! This space is pretty unbelievable for the Big Bend area!

We loved our lunch at Venga. Quinoa Salad and Chicken Fajitas were fantastic! Complimentary mimosas, fresh food & an awesome vibe.
