I had a hamburger and fries, and sweet tea. Food was delicious. Our waitress, who I believe was also the cook, was so nice. Very welcoming. Food was delicious! Real cute country place. We'll go back. Only part I didn't like is, they allow smoking inside.

Only ever see one young lady cooking & despite being little busy was still friendly and helpful. Highly recommend stop there on the way to the lake or home on PR 57. You can see for one piece of fish, how much you get!

I ordered catfish, AGAIN! asked for it be cut into nuggets this time! Best catfish out here I've had. Not sure if on the menu, but I would've loved little gravy for mashed potatoes.

Lemon juice packets or little fresh lemon for the fish be even better!

Buy some small package brown gravy mix, only makes couple cups at time & cooks in literally one min. Just thought! Smile 😜

The most wholesome atmosphere and home cooking. Our waitress was also our cook, she nailed it!!

Amazing place, cozy decor. Exceptionally friendly cook/waiter.
Portion sizes were very presently surprising. We ended up eating the meals for two leftover meals. All for a great price. If we are ever back in the area we will stop again for sure.

I had steak fingers(not steak planks like you get at most restaurants) and they were really good. There are only two other places besides Freedom Ranch that I know that still make real steak fingers. Double A in Haskell Texas and Buddy's in Andrews Texas. My wife ordered a hamburger and it was good also. Only complaint I have is that they allow smoking in the restaurant. Next time I will just get everything to go. 🙂

Absolutely delicious beyond belief. The previous reviewers are correct. Its definitely unassuming from the outside and we were a little concerned because there was no one inside but all our concerns were put to rest by the first bite. We went as a small dinner party and all shared, therefore we got to taste a lot of menu items so I can say with complete confidence that the food is just amazing. It takes a while because everything is fresh and handmade. But it is completely worth it because it's just so good. It's down home small town cooking and the owners are just delightful. If you are within a 50-mile radius the drive is worth it. We would come back every week if we lived close because it's just so good and the people are just so sweet. The prices are great. I know of no where else where you can get a huge fresh cheeseburger with all of the toppings for $3. Get in your car and head there now you can thank me later.
