The food was ok.... I grade the service on can the server keep my tea glass full... She didnt.

Everything about this place is great. The food is amazing. Very friendly service. Feels like home. Props to this very tiny cafe with big flavor and service. Will stop every time we come through.
Update----nothing has changed. Still great 👍

Was passing thru and decided to try them. I ordered the steak sandwich which and French fries said was $8.50 the menu read that you would get a side and additional sides would be $3. Waitress stated it did not come with the side and with the additional 15% they add on to your bill at the register the sandwich ended up costing me almost $15. What really got me was that the chicken fried steak dinner was only $11.75 with 2 sides which would have been less than the sandwich even with the 15% added. The food was okay, not great. The steak was under seasoned and very greasy. Definitely won’t be going back ever and will only recommend that people don’t go!

Always delicious!! I had the Ribeye Steak Dinner and my husband had the Catfish plate. Everything was wonderful. Great service too!

My husband said he had the best chicken fried steak ever! I had the fried chicken tenders. You can certainly tell they were both homemade. Delicious! We will definitely be stopping back on our next trip through Seymour.

This place was pretty good. My wife said the cheese sticks were excellent.

Ugh. Took forever to get a simple hamburger and after the shooting in Uvalde I frankly thought their display of their stance on gun control was tacky and insensitive as hell. Wont be back. Didn't help that when the kitchen staff did emerge they looked unhygienic and downright dirty.

Our experience here was not good. We have eaten here several times in the past and have had good food and service each time. This time, however, that was not the case. We got there at 7:00. We initially were greeted within a few minutes of sitting down and got our drinks. My parents and daughter were driving in to meet us so we waited on them to arrive before ordering. They arrived at 7:15. After their arrival, our waitress did not return to the table for 15 minutes to take their drink order. When she finally did, we ordered our food immediately as well. About 10 minutes later, they got their drinks. After that, it was an hour before we got any refills on our drinks. We actually had to ask another waitress just to get the refills. We had ordered side salads with our meals and had still not received them at 8:45. My husband had to ask if we could at least get our salads out. Finally, at 9:05pm our food was brought to us. All of our meals were overcooked. My mom and I ordered ribeyes medium rare...mine was well done and chewy. My husband’s burger was charred and well over-cooked, and my dad’s hamburger steak was overdone as well. We were all very disappointed as this had not been our experience here in the past. This unfortunately has made it to where we more than likely won’t be back. I would also like to add that we are very lenient people when it comes to restaurant service, but we didn’t even get good service from the wait staff. If they had come around on a regular basis just to check on us and keep our drinks filled at least, it might not have been so bad. But we didn’t even get that. The table next to us even joked with us as they were leaving if we were even going to get our food as they came in after us and had to wait at least an hour to get their food as well. I don’t like leaving reviews like this, but this was a terrible experience.
