Red Runner Coffee - Walzem

I remember in begin I was not huge fan of red runner. But I see some menu change so I decide come back and try again with bee my honey. I’m def approve this one!

Jessika is one of super friendly she remind me like hippie lady and she having positive vibe and I just love about her. She know I’m deaf and she make sure I’m happy with my coffee🥰

This is my favorite place to get coffee!!! They are always friendly and fast. The drinks are amazing! They also take care fo the pups! Not to mention, very affordable for the size and flavor. I also love that they bring new drink ideas each month on theme.

I love stopping by for my morning and day time pick me ups. From hot coffee to ice cold drinks. They always have new monthly flavors. Layla is super sweet, barista who makes great drinks with a friendly smile . The recent upgrades to the property looks really good. I love supporting our San Antonio small business.

I ordered the iced Stinger which included honey. When I tasted it I realized I couldn’t taste any honey flavor. It also felt like my straw was getting stuck on something. When I went back I asked about not tasting honey and so they added honey to it and I was shocked to see that they added honey by squeezing it into the cup, no wonder my straw was getting stuck on something! Honey hardens when it’s placed with ice. Honey lattes are made by reducing the honey to a syrupy texture. The latte was not good. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back.

This location used to be my favorite spot for iced coffee. The blonde barista with glasses always messes my coffee up so bad that it is not drinkable. Today at about 720pm I stopped by to get a coffee only to throw it away- this is the 3rd one I throw out. I will not be returning to the Walzem location.

This place used to be so good but now there are 2 new girls there and neither one seems to know how to make coffee or follow instructions. We ordered a blended mocha, a cookies and cream and 2 kids frozen hot chocolates. 3 drinks were supposed to have whip cream. The mocha was completely watered down, flavorless and barely frozen. I gave it back and asked the other employee to make it. This time it was more frozen but still absolutely no flavor at all and no chocolate around the cup like usual. The cookies and cream seemed to be a chocolate drink versus the usual cookies and cream we are use to when we order from here. The kids drinks came out fine but they didn’t put any whip cream as requested. I noticed the car in the window across from us gave their drink back to be remade as well. Sad part is we spoke to the manager Ariel just 2 weeks ago because we had the exact same issue with our drinks being horrible. Seems to be the weekend crew.

This is my first review I think you just have to know The drink was delicious and the building is very well kept and beautiful I would love to come back but I didn’t appreciate the service. The lady with the very long blonde hair asked if I needed a minute to order and before I could finish answering she shut the window very abruptly. It didn’t seem like she was happy to be there or wanted to take my order. She also asked if she could sign the receipt which seems odd to me. I would like to come back but not if she’s taking my order.

My favorite coffee place in town! The coffee tastes so good, even the decaf since I can’t have too much caffeine anymore sadly. My advice though if you don’t like super sweet coffee is to order it “half-sweet.” Thank me later!

Also love love love the new pastries from Miss Chickpea. The spinach and pesto kolache is sooo good. Baristas are always super friendly and helpful. I used to live over here and go all the time but moved about 25 minutes away but I now make that drive at least once a week because I miss it too much! Please make another location closer to Wurzbach and 10!

This is my new coffee spot. They have good prices, quality items and friendly staff. They have 2 lanes for our convenience. They have a good variety of drinks from your morning coffee to an afternoon treat. I have also noticed that they have seasonal items as well.
Come check them out if you are in the area.

Drinks were good this time but this is the second time I went to this location & the staff there takes it upon themselves to to tip themselves & refuse to let you see the card reader! This location is closer to home but if this happens again I’ll look into other options.
