The gentleman and lady operating the shop were very nice and made ordering the drinks real easy

I have been going to this coffee shop since they opened. Always very nice and friendly but today must have been a bad day. I order the same drinks everytime and normally their sons make them when they are there and they are excellent. I have only had to return 2 drinks in all the year I been going to this shop 1 for having to much ice and not enough of the actual flavoring of the drink and it was a day when they had no AC my drink was a bit runny which the son explained “ hey we have no AC so the drink was not as good as usual he made me another drink and it was wonderful. Today I order my usual drink I noticed it was spilling out all over the cup and sides. She asked her husband for another cup. She then scraped the drink into another cup then put the remaining whipped cream out of the empty canister on my drink. Idk what she said to her husband but he says” I was going to wipe down the sides of her cup because it’s wasted on it she says something to him,he says “ yea whatever” snd hands me the drink so it’s clear he was having a moment. I immediately said hey can you look at this drink it looks like water I assume from it’s spilling all over out the cup it was to much liquid. He immediately goes to the register gives me back my money ignores me and starts talking to the customer behind me as if I wasn’t even there. I tell him I spend lots of money in this store probably more than most of your other customers and I didn’t ask for the money back I asked could they remake the drink for me. He says you’ve said 4 times we make drink wrong I said no sir it was 2 and it was something wrong with it I brought it back so you could see there was no lies about it. And this drink was right in his face. As many times as I’ve been there Ive never been treated the way Steve or John is his name treated me. Then I have one of my workers call and ask about the drink he tells them send someone else not me or she can come herself she immediately says that’s discrimination because if you payed for a drink and you feel it’s not to your liking you have a right to ask them to remake it! For him to get mad and lie about it and then say he doesn’t want me there anymore is very VERY disrespectful and discriminatory. I have always been honest and fair when I come to this shop. I as a customer did not deserve to be treated the way I had been.

Wonderful people and excellent service. They always get my order perfect. The americano and the ginger green tea are my favorite. Simply the best there is.

If you're passing through Rusk, or staying for a few days like we did, I recommend this place for breakfast and coffee. We went there every morning. Very lovely people, thank you and greetings from Slovakia!

YellowWood is the absolute best coffee shop in Cherokee County!! Their drinks are amazing and I NEVER can decide on my favorite, they all are!! The owners and their two sons are also the absolute most sweetest people ever, love talking to them at every visit!!

This place is great my 17 year old daughter found it online. We have loved everything we have gotten there. The owner operators are so friendly and don't mind educating you a little if you have questions or your just curious about coffee. YellowWood is a must try in Rusk. I'm sure you'll love it as much as my family and I do. A well deserved 5 stars 🤩....

Super friendly owners...they are Kind and take the time to talk to you. Beautiful artwork on the coffee, very talented! AND my order (peppermint mocha latte and salted caramel latte) were delish!!! Glad to have organic coffee available in these neck of the woods! ♡

We LOVE Yellowwood! If you think small town can't do coffee, then you are in for a surprise. If you think the big names (beginning with Star) make good coffee, then come here and find a GREAT cup of Jo in whatever format you like. Hubby loves the frappes, think blended drink 10 times better, and I love a Wizard Ale (hot coffee drink)... kids love all that and smoothies too. Essentially, everything is wonderful - it is coffee done from scratch and done right. With amazing service, friendly face, and intelligent conversation. We are so blessed to have Yellowwood in Rusk.

I stopped into the coffee shop today for the first time today and purchased a peppermint mocha. It was delicious and had the most beautiful design made in it!! The owners are such a joy to visit with and take so much care and pride in their work!! I will definitely be back!!
