They have a tiny cup, 8 oz, for small kids, which I was pleased by so that my 4-year-old didn't get sugared out when I ordered a couple of frappes. The drinks were good and reasonably priced.

I'm trying hard to like this place, but they aren't making it easy. I came in a few days ago and ordered a double shot espresso but received a latte. I was disappointed but willing to give them a second chance. Today I ordered two Tres Leches Lattes and waited 15 minutes before reminding them about my order. The staff is very friendly, and the coffee was good, it just seems disorganized. I know they are just opening, but If I wanted this much of a pain in the butt to get coffee, I would just make it myself.

OK place and beans. Don't expect real baristas behind the counter. Overpriced. Location looks fantastic. Ordered a double shot espresso and obviously they need to work on the dial in of their own beans. Took home some beans and they were not that...... bad. I was hoping for better.

The owner reached out as did the manager of the store to clear things up. Both were kind and professional. I've since been back several times and the quality and the service have been great each time. I have also sent friends to Alamo and they have embraced their new favorite drinks. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. Thank you to the management team for handling the situation gracefully - Yall rock!

I sincerely want to like this place – Their space is beautiful and well thought out, the baked goods look amazing, the rest of the menu seems great, and I'm in the neighborhood across the street. I’ve had a couple of on-menu drinks need to be remade, not a huge deal considering they recently opened and I imagine they’re still training people – This was done professionally and without issue which was appreciated. That said, I had pretty poor experience going through the drive-thru in which I was the lone car and no one took the order. Not wanting to park and defeat the point of a drive-thru, I pulled up to the window to try and get the attention of a barista. I locked eyes with someone only to have them ignore me and keep on walking. This was frustrating to say the least and I so I left without coffee. I believe in supporting local businesses but it’s honestly not worth the frustration when there are a ton of other options. I look forward to trying again in a few months once Alamo is out of the growing pains stage.

First time, we loved the breakfast quesadillas, overloaded breakfast sandwiches bagels and the coffee was delicious too.

Today seemed like a soft opening. I am pleased with what we ordered. I had the Cold Tres Leches Latte, this is good for those of us that like some sweet. My wife had a cold drink called the Fredericksburg Peach and it was refreshing. As for the food, we had the bacon quesadilla, street corn, and Ham & Cheese Bagel. All food items ordered were tasty. The kiddos loved the bacon quesadilla and I found the Ham & Cheese Bagel to be filling. The street corn was also surprisingly good considering I would not consider this a "mexican food" place. For dessert we had the chocolate chip muffin and the sopapilla cheesecake. I must say, the sopapilla cheesecake was a little slice of heaven and the whole family enjoyed it. With a new business I will generally try them once they open. If I do not have a good experience, I come back a couple months later to give them another chance. For this being the first day open, all the training and pressure that comes with the first day, I will say Alamo Coffee House did excellent. I'll be back.

Is there any coffee shop that serves edible food to go with the coffee !? Café Java is the only one I can think of. After 18 years I finally have something I can walk to, This morning I tried Alamo Coffee and the coffee was fine however I tried a ham & cheese bagel that a starving dog wouldn’t eat ! and for almost 8$ how about real eggs & not from a carton!? Every element of this was awful.....The bagel was like cardboard, the ham was of the lowest tasteless quality. I took 2 bits & that was it. Without something to eat I can’t see stopping here for just coffee.

Lavender cold foam nitro didn’t taste anything like lavender and the foam basically all mixed into the coffee…had to add about 4 sugar packets to make it taste drinkable. Choc chip muffin was kind of dry. Overall just disappointed. My husband didn’t care for his Myan mocha.

The Mayan coffee and street corn are the best, It might be different from traditional esquite, but it is so delicious! I love coffee and I love esquite and this makes it easier for those that are craving both.
I also tried out the bourbon bagel sandwich and très leches latte, my partner and I devoured them. Definitely recommend coming here to study too!
