Found this shop and stopped for a macchiato.
The interior is so stinkin' cute. There is plenty of spaces to sit and relax and the decor is completely awesome with shabby chic tables and a lovely red divan. I am pretty straight up I will be attending this shop frequently.

This is a proper coffeehouse and it is fantastic! It is business friendly with lots of power outlets and usb charging plugs as well as free WIFI. They serve lunch and have muffins and scones and other stuff. You won't be disappointed. It's right across the street from the courthouse and is a great place to meet socially or for business.

Their lattes and coffee drinks actually taste like coffee and not just syrup in a cup! This place gets the nod of approval from the entire family. Great place and easily better drinks than Starbucks. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

I love this place. Quitman being the town that it is when a new place opens you worry about how long it'll be open. But the Speakeasy has held tight and that makes me so happy. It has a wonderful atmosphere, amazing drinking, and scrumptious pastries. It makes you want to enjoy and appreciate Quitman more. Everyone should be thankful for the Speakeasy.

I love this coffee house. The staff is very friendly and quick, they make a great cup of coffee and I’ve enjoyed a few cookies as well. Try the lemon cookies they are delicious. I enjoy the Americano which they prepare very quickly. There is a large parlor with separate sitting arrangements, large and small, so I can go read a book or go with a few friends and there is plenty of room for all situations. Many local newspapers and weekly circulars are available and local businesses and churches and volunteer groups use the bulletin boards to get their message out.
The decor is really quite neat. There is a 1920/30s style and it lends well to the name of Speakeasy.
It is not a romantic place but it would be a great place to meet for a get-to-know-you date. Young people and older people hang out here but I don’t see a lot of kids running around.
I highly recommend checking out Speakeasy if you need a cup of coffee or a fresh baked goodie.
