I love this place. 1418 is the quintessential little hole in the wall coffee shop, right in the heart of old downtown Plano. The coffee is lovely, the baristas are friendly and skilled, and the food is tasty. My only complaint is that I usually have to stand in line for a few minutes, because the shop is so popular. But honestly, you won't be disappointed, because it is worth the wait.

By far my favorite coffee shop. They have the coziest vibe (especially during the holidays) and great coffee! I always get the purple Haze. Cookies and pie are also great. They used to have tacodeli tacos which were amazing but the new ones aren't quite as good

I came here for the first time this afternoon and I very much enjoyed it! The coffee was excellent, the staff was personable and had great recommendations, and the atmosphere was perfect for chatting with friends or studying solo. I had the Sgt. Pepper Latte, which was Maple and Brown Sugar, some kind of roast beef sandwich, and finished it off with a slice of Key Lime Pie from Emporium Pies. 1418 Coffeehouse is a hip spot in downtown Plano, and I will most certainly return whenever I’m in the area.

Great Danish and coffee here. You should try it sometime!

Love the coffee here. Look at the picture! Amazing coffee and great vibes.
Update: This place lost the quality/taste that it used to have. Yesterday I got Caramel Macchiato and it was awful. I asked them to remake it and the second one was awful too.

The 1418 Coffee House is a small piece of history. This location has so much class. Coffee is excellent, facility has good ambience. Location has parking in a garage behind the building. The service is excellent. The only issue is: this coffee house is always packed so finding a seat can be difficult. You may need to sit very close to a stranger but it could be a great experience. :)

This coffee shop guarantees quality. The employees have a positive spirit and great customer service! The only problem is that seating isn't always available due to many people. However, that is the effect of an amazing coffee shop!

Absolutely one of my favorite coffee shops. Love the cozy seating and atmosphere. They have a great selection of food, pastries, and coffee. Decent wifi and places to study and work as well.

The coffee was average but the fruit and yogurt parfait was delicious. Service is inconsistent sometimes great sometimes not so much. The place smells inside like a frat house. The couches need to be steam cleaned and deodorized more often. With soft surfaces you absorb so many smells. Really a turn off and we didn’t want to sit down on the furniture and opted to go outside where the air was fresh.

My mom and I had a wonderful time at this cozy coffeeshop in downtown Plano. The shop smelled like coffee, Christmas music played softly in the background, and the shop was all decked out in Christmas garlands. We ordered the Purple haze, which had beautiful latte art as well as the snowball pie (coconut cream), which was creamy and flavorful. It was such a nice afternoon; we will be back!
