West Pecan Coffee + Beer

Such a cute coffee shop. It’s just across from food trucks, a boutique and a clay painting shop. The baristas made a delightful cup of pecan latte and the crispness of the strawberry jam pastry was ‘chef’s kiss’. WiFi is free to log into to complete work or browse. They have goodies inside the store. Plenty of social distancing. Cute resin coasters with clean and dirty to help new guests and baristas see which tables are available to use. I’ll be back. ☺️

Atmosphere is so good; the music is never too loud or jarring even when it's live and the patrons are kind and considerate!

The staff are always friendly and are easy to communicate with. They provide a good working environment with a few different types of seating: most near outlets. Most spots are also comfortable to sit!

The coffee, pastries and other food items are almost always delicious! I would say try to stick to their menu items (not altering them a whole bunch) because everything's amazing as-is! I especially love their cardamom buns 🥰. My husband and I went to Sweden a few years back and have been searching for that signature taste. West Pecan is the ONLY place in Central TX that we've found delicious and authentic cardamom buns! 🤤

While the coffee from here typically tastes great, sometime the hot drinks come out on the skimpy side. I don’t leave reviews on one offs, this is the 3rd time my drink has had a less then adequate filling. I know the drink is frothed and such but come on most of us know how we feel when there is a ton of foam on the top of a beer... a little cheated, coffee is no different. All the way to my second knuckle worth of foam and it was $7, not including tip. To make it works its not even with the gas it would take to drive back to get the issue corrected.

This is such a hidden gem!! Everything was amazing , the atmosphere, cleanliness, the decor & the staff especially Travis who made sure I was taken care of after not liking the pecan coffee , the zesty orange was too much for me. The “everything nice” def made it up and I can say I left so satisfied ☺️ So thanks Travis 🙏🏼 And ohhh the everything cream cheese pastry 🥐 was mmm delish 🤌🏼 Keep it up y’all 😉

This place is super cute, but I’m honestly leaving this review because Deidra was an incredible barista. She was one of the sweetest, cutest human beings I’ve ever met. She knew the answer to every question we could think of. Her smile is contagious and she had a delightful sense of humor. If she is working, you will have a wonderful experience.

Great honey buns. Coffee service very quick and batista very friendly and helpful. Great environment, nice place to spend time and drink coffee .

The place is nice, clean, nice staff. However, I try to come here a lot for work and studying but many of times there is something going on. The other day a lady (beautiful voice) but very loud was singing for about two hours. I understand that all and am fine with it. I just wish y’all would please put these events on your website. Some people come to coffee shops for entertainment, others come to get studying and getting work done. Wish the website would clarify this so I do not come on the days there’s singers and such. I come here at least once a week and have gotten to the point where I won’t be returning because it seems to happen far too often and I cannot get much work done.

As far as atmosphere goes, this place can’t be beat. Love going for any amount of time, either with friends or to just sit and do some of my own work. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful when it comes to scoping out the menu, and I usually leave very satisfied when I get coffee specifically. I’ve noticed that the teas aren’t very strong and that the tea lattes typically come a little watery so if tea is your preference then I’d maybe just mention making it stronger. Overall great vibes and great coffee.

Had the best experience getting a chai latte here with a friend! Love the staff and cozy atmosphere. We took our coffees and enjoyed a stroll around Pflugerville. Will go back again!

Great local store. They have delicious cakes and coffee. I suggest you try caffè mocha in here, it is better than Starbucks:)
