***Updated 10/22/2018*** A lot has changed since my original review in a great way! This just goes to show they listen to customers! Ally Outdoors is a beautiful building. They have a great selection of products. Pricing varies on their inventory but they seem to have reasonable prices on most of their firearms. But as always due your own price checks b4 buying anything. The Range is just awesome and the hours have expanded! It is pay by the hour which does make it more expensive than some of the other ranges in the area which are just pay once and shoot till you are finished. I have been to the range since the updated hours and I have made additional purchases.
They have a cafe that serves great food. It seems to only be open during lunch and can get very busy. I have had several items off the menu and so far nothing as disappointed.
The staff is top notch and friendly!!! Having a good staff matters to me! Dane is great to talk to and very knowledgeable.

Today I wanted to go shooting just for 30 minutes. I got to the Range Desk at 5:37 pm. I asked if I could still shoot just for 30 minutes and I was willing to pay for the full 1 hr. The person was polite but told me they have a strict policy that 5:30 pm is the cutoff no exceptions. It stinks b/c most of the time my work schedule doesn't work with their hours of operation. Funny thing, I have bought a firearm from them (which was a great transaction) but due to Range hours I've never been able to shoot it here. Trust me I've tried to make it here in time to shoot so many times and so far no success đ
An impressive gun store/indoor shooting range. It has about 25 pistol ranges, several 50 yard ranges and some 100 yard ranges for rifles up to 300 Winchester Magnum.
First visit today. Very nice facility. Friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located. Pistol range is great. Lane rental fees are extremely reasonable. Being able to escape the West Texas heat is a game changer! Will definitely be back...
These guys are great its nice it to have a place like this to go to here in town. Great lunch spot, variety of guns, and the best gun range in town! Prices are fair they maybe $20-30 more at times but theyâll also have discounts throughout the year.
Overpriced range, unnecessary clothing line-all mens, low stock, only about 4 employees know what the heck about anything, the bald guy is awesome, zero answer on social media questions, no phone calls when you consignment sells, the chunky one is a know-nothing, condescending slob. This place could be really great-but it aint.
Went in to see if I could get a dloop tied and was told by tov the bowtech that he would have to keep my bow, blew my mind. It only take a minute to complete. I then asked if I could buy some dloop material and he said no. No customer service. I've been in a couple times before and the dude acts like he is doing you a favor. These interaction have literally cost your company 10s of thousands of dollars. This is why everybody is going to brush mountain. By the way to charge 50 dollar an hour and tell me that it will take up to 5 hours to change my strings is not a good business model. Dude wanted a quarter of what my bow cost plus parts.
Place was super clean. Went on a Sunday, not super crowded or crazy, so the staff were able to help a lot. Just wanted to check out their shooting range/ammo prices. Range is 20/hr, a little odd, but certainly worth it in my opinion. The range people made sure have me sign a waiver, and watch a 6 minute video going over their firearm safety rules. If I were a newer shooter, this would have been an awesome start, compared to the first time I actually went shooting. The staff member that showed me to the range was relaxed, and seemed confident, which also helped me feel at ease in a new range. Walked me through some of the specifics of the 100yard range (Shoot once per second, watch the door to make sure it closes, ect) and was friendly without being over bearing. When I finished my session and headed back up front to look at their ammo, their standards rounds (9mm and .223 mostly) seemed a fair price, from what I had seen around our area. They also had a boat load of .300blk, including 20 round boxes or 500 round boxes. This was a little high priced, but. 300blk always is if it's in person. I also asked a staff member about their sights/optics, as two of their display cases were mostly full, but I was curious if I was missing another section. They let me know they were expecting more, and I'm very very happy to say that I will be back again over the next few weeks to see what they have to offer, and will definitely go here for any major firearm purchases.
TLDR: Great staff, great selection, and great range. Hoping to see more of the same in the future!
This review is of the range itself, not the store. The range staff were very friendly and informational. The range and targets were a fun experince. Being able to shoot a fully auto hk45 brought back great memories as well.
Great place! They have a small restaurant inside, 4 100yrd ranges, and quite a few pistol ranges, I personally never go to the pistol range so I donât know how many there are. They have a good selection of guns you can rent as well as a couple of machine guns, so go try those defenitly while you are there. They have a gunsmith on site.
