Bear Cave Coffee

Love supporting small business and this coffee shop was a hidden lil gem. It's quaint and a laid back looking vibe. The staff was very friendly and informative.
I ordered the Teddy Graham Lattee and I liked the flavor of the coffee, the coffee was not as strong which I like and there was no bitterness or after taste. I didn't need to add anything additional, except I kind of wished it had more of a cinnamon flavor. I also got a blueberry scone and it was good, it was warmed and had a nice soft crunchy edge and soft middle, it was not overly sweet. I would definitely come back to try other items.

Great coffee and snackable items. Really like the atmosphere and vibes going on inside. Definitely a fresh coffee shop feel. There's a cub corner for the kiddos to hang out in, lots of local artists pieces adorning the walls, like paintings and photos, and they have their own merch section which is really neat. Pricing is good too.

Local caffeine joint, has character, but lacks space. Seems like a good idea, just atmosphere isn’t inviting. Maybe I’m missing something, maybe my timing is off? Service was okay, I ordered Drip coffee with cream and the Ethiopian bean has a different earthy flavor, I like bold roasted flavors. Price was average $2.75 for 12oz. If ever in Downtown Mesquite stop by and check it out. Maybe you have a better experience then I did.

I cannot express enough how much I love and adore this coffee shop. From the baristas to the owners, this place is amazing! Such a welcoming and family/pet friendly environment! The lattes and pastries are great!

I have to say that the Latte was really good! The staff was nice and helpful. It’s a small place with great environment and cozy atmosphere. Such a shame the pastry was limited that day but I’ll go back someday to try more things out. Thanks!

What a find! Riding around DFW by bike randomly had us go by this place. Never much to tempt fate by entering a bear cave but has to take a chance here.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and were blown away by the style, layout, friendly service, and awesome coffee. Oat milk cappuccino was top notch and the blueberry scone was legit.

Passing through town, awesome little gem. Coffee and pastry flavors are subtle but delicious. Personally I prefer we’ll balanced coffees and pastries not just a straight sugar dump. This place makes my all time favorite coffee spots. If I lived here I would have coffee every AM, without fail.

I absolutely adore this place. As a prediabetic with diabetes on both sides of my family, I LOVE how diverse their sugar-free syrup selection is! The staff is friendly, this part of town is so cute! There is occasionally a cute little dog that comes in, so that's fun. There are comfy places to sit, great parking, etc. Honestly this is my go to shop.

If I could give you more stars I would! I LOVE this place! They TRULY know coffee. I have been working in coffee for a long time and this is some of the best I’ve had! Mesquite needed this place so bad and the owners are absolutely the most amazing humans! All of their baristas are friendly and personable! The recommendations are never wrong and the seasonal drink names and flavors are to die for! 10 out of 5 would recommend over and over again! 💜

Good coffee here. I do wish they had heavy cream as an option though!
