Ordered a brisket sandwich and it was delicious. Normally I like plenty of bbq sauce with my brisket, but this brisket tasted great without any sauce at all. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful.

Great little find in Medina. It's nice that they offer breakfast as well as BBQ, we had breakfast and it was very good. Staff was friendly and efficient. We'll be back!

Arriving after 10:59 meant no more breakfast. I was given two options by default: no breakfast or order a meat dish. I had brisket. The brisket was tender and moist but sadly lacked seasoning. The portion was more than adequate.
The potato salad was good. The other sides were pickles, onion, beans, and a slice of bread.
Tea is only available in unsweet.
As the town has no public sewage, be prepared to use the portapotty.
Will I go back? Absolutely but before 10:59.

The place is quaint and the service friendly
However, the food is bad. I got pork ribs, which were greasy and flavorless. The brisket was good, but did not taste like barbecue at all. Sausage not good. My friend had carne guisado , which was white meat with sort of white gravy; turned out to be greasy pork, not beef, because the cook likes pork better. Beans and potato salad good. Don't recommend at all.

The service was all over the place and the brisket and the ribs tasted liked they baked it in the oven very dry no smoke flavor and bland the brisket was dry and had hard chuncks. But soaked the sandwich buns with what I'm guessing the remaining juices from the glassbottom pan that it was baked in. And to make it even better. The bathroom ... There is no plumbing it's an out house u know the stuff u find at music festivals or in ur great great great great grandmas house or something yeaahhhh not a place to go with family and friends

Oh my goooosh! I was directed to go here by 4 local gentlemen that were relaxing on a front porch in town as I was looking for homemade pies!!! Boy did I ever hit the jackpot! Not only did they offer homemade pies but we tried 3 kinds and everyone of them tried by my family was voted the BEST pies we had ever eaten!!! Hard to decide a favorite but you must try the keylime pie!

Decent lunch special. I've had the steak and tater meal in the dining and a burger to go. Friendly folk. Will try the brisket next time

This is the second time Ive tried this place. The second time was just as bad (probably worse if im honest)as the first. Both times I ordered the special and for the price they give you a fair amount of food for the price. I received the chicken fried steak special thinking that HAD to be fresh. In all my years on Earth this was the worst chicken fried steak ive ever tasted. The batter looked new but the meat was reminiscent of a month old elementary school meat patty. Not enough ketchup in Medina to make it good. Wait..isnt this a BBQ restaurant? I tried that too. Brisket was bland and chicken was dry as a bone. I guess theres a reason they dont just sell BBQ..the alternative to the BBQ isnt worth a trip back. I wish this place was better bc there arent many options in Medina. Sorry folks. Waitress was nice though...

The breakfast tacos are good and the potato salad is great. I gave a star for each of those but honestly the wait time can be beyond absurd when they're busy.
