Corner Bakery Cafe

We paid for coffee. Only to go and pour a cold coffee. We asked clerk if they had hot coffee. They told us they would have to make fresh coffee. It took 20 min. Tables were dirty, like they were neglected. For an upscale coffee place. It was not worth it. Will not go back.

Last time we enjoyed our lunch. Breakfast today was below 1 star. Mariealena, our cashier, couldn't get our order right. Manager has to deal with her mistakes all day. Decafe coffee probably wasn't. My food arrived cold, I didn't complain because I didn't want any "special sauce" upon it's return. I will avoid this place, it's bad service and it's overpriced food.

Food is good it's just that I had to wait about 15 minutes just to take my order because only one cashier was available during the lunch hour

We were there on a Sunday evening. Sorry to say that the service was very slow and the food was bellow their normal standards.
Staff either wore no masks or did not properly wear them when interacting at our table.
Normally eat at another location and never had issuez so maybe it was just this location.

Isabelle Fuentes was extremely rude while trying to place an order she just cutt me off to jump to the guy behind me. She has no customer service skills at alll. She seemed so uptight, maybe should’ve called into work if she was having a bad day. Or get re trained. Horrible. The manager had no compassion just stayed quiet when explaining how she was. Definitely not coming back here. They need way better service. Plus there was a long hair in my brothers sandwich. Just a bad place over all. Wish it would’ve been better experience.

Worst experience we’ve had since visiting McAllen. We placed our order and waited over 30 minutes for food while other orders placed after us arrived promptly at other tables. When asked if our order was forgotten the cashier told us our food would be out next, multiple orders came out after that. Once our food arrived our plates were dirty with food from previous orders (avocado smears, lettuce, all were not from our sandwiches). There was also a large black hair on one of the plates. Would not eat here again.

Yahir was exceptional!!!! So attentive!!!!! So kind!!! You can tell he enjoys what he is doing... best experience we've had today that he was our server...

Everyone is friendly. I also love this area. Then you can escape the food lol

I only get pancake platters, so I know everything else, but pancakes are really delicious. Get them with eggs and bacon. They usually give huge pieces.

I ordered the Bananas Foster pancakes with a side of red potatoes. The pancakes were delightful, the bananas and candied pecans were great but the caramel drizzle absolutely stole the show. Unfortunately the potatoes were over cooked and too tough for my liking but overall the food was pretty good. I would order again. Rating 4.0

Menu look appetising, staff look really nice and friendly.
