Bolillos Cafe North

Love this place for the comfort food. I don't give it five stars because ... well... you can find better mexican food elsewhere, but the prices are decent for what you get. Either way, food is good, good dessert selection since it has a bakery inside. I keep forgetting to take a picture of my food.

This place has been a local favorite. Not a big franchise but came out as an extension of Cake Land. The servers are quick to provide good service always, even when the restaurant is at capacity. They have a great menu selection, not all traditional Mexican but many varieties. The place has many painting on the walls from local artists. The chicken salad sandwich with the poblano was very good and under $10. The sandwich bread was soft as well as the chicken salad very good, well proportioned of ingredients. The restaurant also has a good variety of sweet bread and cakes made to order. On certain days, they host "Starving Picasso" where people can learn how to paint a pre-selected picture and you can order from a small food and drink selection. Also, the location with Lola's restaurant with lights at night is very beautiful. They also host weekend markets.

This place is wonderful. I do enjoy the service. The food is very good. I do like trying different items from the menu. I mostly go for lunch and will always try a burger or enchiladas.

The breakfast is fantastic! I love there bolillo sampler as well.

The bakery is top notch. Sometimes pick up a variety of items for the office as a mid day pick me up.

Now I saw this item at a cafe in San Antonio and asked if they could make it. They said they could but haven’t asked them yet. A concha burger. Replacing the buns with a concha. I do want to try this at some point.

The food was pretty good, but they need to work on their wait staff who tend to disappear for long stretches of time.

I really enjoy the food and culture at this lovely place. I celebrated my birthday here once and it was the best time of my life. Order the enchiladas, bolillos and flautas

I come here for the flavor. I keep going back to places I enjoy doesn't everyone? I bet they will eventually start making desserts to display in their glass case. Hint hint wink wink. The place is clean and friendly. No excessively loud and crazy music either.
Relaxing...

Tried ordering online but website was offline...went to the restaurant and ordered there. Took about 30 minutes from order to receiving food. This is one of the stops I always make when visiting Laredo (love the enchiladas callajeras).

The staff does a great job of maintaining a clean restaurant, providing great customer service, and making your food in no time; and the food is always Scrumptious, you gotta try the enchiladas suizas with their fresh lemonade, and make sure you leave room for dessert trust me you'll thank me later!

It is just ok, we were there waiting 15 minutes for be seated, once inside waiting 10 minutes to order, and allmost 20 to get our order, and the food was just ok, the only thing I liked was the french vanilla coffee
