Never thought a coffee shop would bring such a sense of community. My husband and I are not from the area, but we have found such an incredible crew at this location. Easy walk in downtown, friendly vibes, relaxed environment, and great coffee!

Honestly... my mornings aren't complete without a visit to The Tipping Point. Sometimes I just pop in for my morning Latte and end up staying for hours. (all the time actually lol). The coffee is amazing, the service is friendly, the patrons are like family... Def one of my favorite things about living downtown! :-)

If you haven’t gone by to grab a cup of coffee from Tipping Point Coffee what are you waiting for? I definitely recommend ordering a lavender latte - my favorite! Their coffee is always consistent and great quality. The friendly and welcoming environment is just the icing on the cake!

Small, quiet coffee shop with good coffee. Nothing fancy and no tables to do hours of work. Just a simple place to get quality coffee. Highly recommend!

Possibly the single greatest coffee establishment in the state of Texas. Coffee is always consistent. Great vibe and friendly, informative baristas. Great spot right next to Market Square Park. Also have greats pop ups for local vendors and artists on the weekends.

Amazing coffee, amazing staff and amazing customers.
This is my first time here and I am blown away by how welcoming and generous treatment I received. 5 stars.

Truly an excellent cup of coffee. Espresso filled with detail and wonderful aromas welcoming me into the cozy and snug space. Adorable and welcoming tipping point coffee has always blown me away with their hospitality.

My best friend and I were so excited to find this cute little spot, as we LOVE coffee and we work downtown..unfortunately, we left very disappointed. When we try new places, or visit our regular spots, we feel like we are paying just as much for the customer service as we are the coffee.
My best friend went inside for us, as I waited in the car but was on the phone with her (I could hear the entire interaction via phone). When she entered, the barista immediately rudely told, not asked, her to shut the door. As a first time visitor, she had no idea the door doesn’t automatically swing closed behind her. She’s nicer than I am, I would have closed the door behind me...right after I turned around and walked back out! But she closed the door and proceeded to order our drinks.
Sadly, I have a diagnosed intolerance to dairy and certain milks, so she ordered me an iced almond milk latte...the barista flatly advised they have no other milks other than whole or oat. I love oat milk, but I am not supposed to have it. I told her to go ahead and get the oat milk latte, since we were already there and I’d just “pay” for it later.
How does a “cafe” not have anything other than 2 milk choices?? It wouldn’t have been so bad if the barista wasn’t so...rude and not personable.
After she got back to the car, we talked about the encounter and she said it seems like the place is more geared to selling their merch, rather than providing coffee. ...but the word ‘coffee’ is in the name of the cafe.
The worst (or best) part?....we enjoyed the lattes!!!! But unfortunately the customer service turned us off so badly that we will not be returning.

My favorite coffee shop in Houston, not only is the coffee amazing but the environment and community the shop has created is next to nothing. Boudreaux and David are the best, will always come back.

Love the coffee here. I don’t even drink coffee like that but I’ll drink it a lot here. The baristas are very welcoming and nice. And it’s in the heart of Downtown. 10/10
