Excellent mocha. Not too sweet. Amaya coffee beans are great. Cheese and Spinach pastry was excellent as well.

We initially went there out of necessity/convenience, but now it’s our go to. Excellent coffee, outstanding service, and a beautiful setting.

I fell in love with this place the first time I saw it online. I live in Austin and am very particular about coffee, and this cute place met the match for me. I am fascinated with space, and this clever coffee shop is perfect for me.

Excellent location, friendly baristas but sub-par coffee. At almost $5 for cappuccino, one expects a really good product. But like many of the overpriced places, there is no effort to differentiate on flavor or coffee making technique. Not better than Starbucks dunking milk and some foam and calling it cappuccino.

Just ok. They have no plates on which you can eat their pastries off of. Odd. We had to eat on some napkin. (We had to ask for the napkin). 😞 We also had to ask that our pastry item be heated up. One would think we would be asked if we wanted it heated. 😞

This place was cute- I had been wanting to try it and hadn't gotten around to it. If certainly helped that the weather was beautiful so I was able to sit outside. I got a matcha latte and the gentleman helping me suggested the house made vanilla syrup to sweeten- it was great! I also got a croissant filled with pumpkin and walnuts. A lovely seasonal flavor and a nice flaky croissant. I'll definitely return.

KYM INHOUSTON

The coffee tastes like coffee. It is not over roasted, or full of artificial flavors. Nice and clean.

One of the best, if not the best, coffee shops in Houston. They use Amaya beans, which is a great Houston roaster. Really cool and creative seasonal drinks. The baristas are very cool, kind, and extremely friendly. It’s a small shop but can’t recommend it enough

Good location, excellent coffee, friendly baristas, nice outdoor space. In addition to more traditional coffee/espresso, they also have creative coffee drinks. If you're staying at the shop, consider asking for a mug instead of getting a disposable cup. They've now added a few food items from Cafe Louie, their sister restaurant, including a yogurt parfait (absolutely delicious) and sandwiches like the Morty. They now also have Amaya Coffee's Cáscara tea - which I hope is a permanent addition!

Very nice first time experience. The staff was really friendly and had good energy, even among themselves. I got a matcha latte and it came out iced instead of hot but they gave me the iced for free anyway. Took the ice out of it upon request. I liked the space because the bar type seating encourages people to talk to each other. The chairs could have been a lot more comfortable but maybe they are trying to discourage people from camping out, since it is a small space, lol.
