French Press Coffee House

Was my first time coming to French Press and had a really great experience. I got the crème brûlée latte and tried ordering beignet bites that are made fresh daily. However they ran out but the assistant manager John was so accommodating and offered another pastry to me on the house. I really appreciated the genuineness they had towards customers since that lacks everywhere else these days. I loved the service and the coffee, will definitely recommend this place and come back often.

This coffee shop was awful. They only include 1.5 shots of espresso in the americano, instead of the standard 2 shots that EVERY other coffee shop includes for the same price. The coffee taste watered down and the lattes are way to sweet(probably not putting much coffee in the lattes either). If you want really bad coffee this is the place for you. :) I recommend cafe zunzun down the road as an alternative if you’re in the area. This shop needs to stop trying to save pennies.

I was looking for beignets in Houston and I found the French Press Coffee House. I ordered MANY several times for large groups. Everyone loved them and I highly recommend them!! I also tried a brown sugar/cinnamon scone that was delicious. Thank you French Press!!!! 👍🏻😋

I have been here several times and anything I have ordered has been great. Clean, courteous service, background music stays in the background so that you can visit. Will be back. Just wish that they didn’t close at 4:00. This would be a good place to have a coffee and a treat while working on the computer.

This place doesn’t know what they’re doing. “1.5 shots” of espresso for a $5 MEDIUM Cappuccino?! It’s insulting to separate out 1/2 a shot from the normal 2shots and screw your customers out of that. Does .5 of a shot really make that big of your bottom line? Never going back to this clown shoes place again. If their doing this, they’re skimping everywhere.

The atmosphere is very warm and modern. The service was excellent. I was greeted by the staff and they were helpful and were able to answer all my questions. I was offered a sample of their daily brew, which was a nice touch!😊 I ordered the western omelette on wheat toast. I would have liked the toast a bit more toasted, but that's just my preference.
I had the southern pecan coffee, which is wonderful. You smell the pecan and taste the nuttiness. Good value for the price I paid which was $8. They also offer rewards program, which is free to sign up for and they give you a loyalty card. Can't wait to use it and start earning rewards.

Came here for the first time this morning and it didn’t disappoint! The barista at the window was super helpful in helping us choose our flavors - if you don’t like too sweet, the half sweetened coffees were perfect! The iced varamel is so smooth and the beignet bites were SO good!

Really good coffee! The pastries were very fresh too. Much much better than Starbucks & the prices are the same so if it’s in your way just go through drive thru. Personally I would prefer a ceramic cup for dine in. Don’t like sitting down in a calm ambient environment drinking coffee in a paper cup.

Love the serenity of the place. Way better than the crowdedness of Starbucks 🙄and amazing array of hot/cold beverages and small foods. OH and BEIGNETS !🤤🤤. Not to mention their restrooms are cleaner than Buc’cees!!😲 Definitely a good stop.
