I was doing a pick up from them yesterday, for a customer. I asked the young lady at the window, how long have they been in business and she told me since 2020. I was shocked, because I have never heard of this place. She offered to make me a coffee after seeing my face that they won the award for best local coffee. Now, I was really wanting to try it. OMG! I wonder if they heard me cussing because it was delicious! I mean she made it with sugar, spice and everything nice! The espresso tasted fresh, and it wasn’t overly sweet! I am coming back as a customer before I clock in a shift. I highly recommend! I love the taste of coffee, and the area I live in only have large chains, that I used to love but in the last few years, I have been looking for something fresh and not overly sweet! This is definitely it!

Amazing local coffee shop. Drive thru service was great and coffee was delicious. Lots of milk and flavor options but also cold brew and normal coffee, espresso. There is also a small food menu that we will definitely try next time. I enjoyed the horchata latte with oat milk. Support local business!

One of the cooler spots in Houston. I've visited before and the drinks are basic, nothing spectacular but they have interesting add-ons if you're into CBD. Nonetheless the staff are friendly. I was just really disappointed at how their "Horchata" is made. Their Horchata is made...with milk. Horchata shouldn't be made with milk, at least not traditionally. The milk cancels out the rice, especially when you add expresso. I ordered their iced Horchata and I received essentially a latte. I called after to see how they make it, and as I suspected...they use milk, not water, to soak the rice and cinnamon. It has zero cinnamon/rice taste to it, just a heavy espesso taste. If they made it correctly, they would have just used water, rice, cinnamon sticks and maybe some vanilla/sea salt. Blend. Then discard the cinnamon and rice. Then use that rice water for their drinks, add espresso, then cinnamon on top and MAYBE a splash of milk (or evaporated milk) mixed with the expesso beforehand if you want it to be creamy. Otherwise, they should tell people it contains milk, because I don't drink milk and wasn't expecting to when I ordered this.

We love this coffee shop! I’m usually hesitant about drive thru coffee but this is legit. Their black coffee and dirty chais are a favorite. They are also super sweet to dogs and do pup cups. Highly recommend!

great coffee!!! 😍😍 I didnt take a picture as I was too shy but the vibes were amazing. I’m a medium so it’s really important for me not to enter a place with negative or off putting energy but your cafe was really the opposite. Especially Giana who was so kind and nice… have always loved italians!

The name of this place pulled me in, initially, but the quality coffee and friendly staff has turned me into a frequent customer. My go-to is an Iced Americano, but Clutch City’s seasonal and frozen drinks are great alternatives. Their loyalty program is simple and obtainable, and I’ve never waited longer than 2 minutes for any drink. I just wish they sold merchandise!

Listen, I'm not a coffee drinker. My girlfriend lives off the stuff, so we stopped in to feed her fury and tame the beast within. She ordered a chi tea and I, feeling adventurous, got the mocha coffee. This was this stuff like everything good you've ever experience rolled into one punch to your tongue! The mocha tasted great and still has me bright-eyed and bushy-tailed a week later. The chi tea literally tasted like Christmas in a cup, too! Do yourself a favor and drop in to experience the best of Clutch City coffee. Your taste buds will thank you later!

One of the best coffee places I’ve been to - fun varieties, oat milk and great service. Super quick and easy - I’ve never waited more than 3-5 min. Love that it’s walkable from my apartment!

We visited Clutch City Coffee during a visit from out of town, and the only negative thing I have to say is that it doesn’t exist where I live. My latte was one of the best I’ve ever had, and my husband’s cold brew was excellent as well. It boasts a very cool setup in a converted service station, and the service was efficient and super friendly. I highly recommend this local coffee shop!
