In a decrepit sea of Starbucks, it's comforting to see local places like this still around.
Whether you're here for vacation or a cruise-if you're a coffee person, this is your go to coffee destination.

This is a small hidden gem! The coffee was so fresh you could taste the difference. The guys who own the place were so great, you could tell they loved what they did. Get off the beaten path, skip the brand everyone knows and discover this gem for yourself, it will be well worth the visit.

Stopped in after doing some historical research in Galveston to wait out traffic and found them on Google. I had their iced latte and their house made hibiscus basil drink. Both were phenomenal. I sat and worked there for about an hour. The large windows provide amazing natural light and plenty of seating. Both of the ladies working were kind and inquisitive with the guests. Really amazing and knowledgeable. They sell bottled house cold coffee, which I didn't pick up but it sounds so good. They also roast their own beans on a bi-weekly basis.

As a Houstonian who loves coffee, this joint will definitely be added as a stop every time I come back to island!

They also have agave fiber straws- I absolutely love that! Such a great detail of care.

Great place for a caffeine fix when in Galveston. Loved the atmosphere!

I am normally disappointed in smaller coffee shops, but the coffee we got here was very good! My family has drastically different orders, and all our drinks were great. The guy we ordered with was super interactive and patient. I wish we were local, we would definitely be back.

There are few coffee shops in Galveston that can make a killer espresso and this is the best. Baristas are friendly and very skilled. Not a long wait here, they keep it moving fast! Other assorted drinks from smaller companies no giant corporations represented here. The history of the building is fascinating too!

The only reason this coffee shop gets 4 stars is because their flavor selection is limited. With that being said, their coffee tastes great and I love the iced High Five! Customer service is always great, and their location is always clean. There is limited seating inside but they have additional seating outside.

Great coffee, we came in about half an hour before close and our barista was very friendly, tool time to explain the different whole beans and answered my (many) questions about what was in season. The flat white i had was marvelous, with good microcosm and a beautiful Rosetta

Will definitely be back

Barista was super friendly and helpful. Their drinks were awesome and parking was free and easy. I enjoyed the hive five, hubs had the hibiscus Basil tea, and we sat outside enjoying the breeze long enough to go for a second round. Delicious!

Interesting espresso with acid forward taste. Milk really cuts through the acid and brings out the cherry flavor. Caramely texture in straight shot. Definitely worth a try but too acidic for me as straight espresso.
