Twisted Sisters Bake Shop

My wife and I went to Fredicksburg for the day. She had remembered Twisted Sisters and was anxious to return. It was my first visit. We were both very happy! The service was excellent, the staff was genuine and enthusiastic, the coffee was tasty and the pastries were fantastic! Also, while this may sound unimportant, their restrooms were spotless and very nicely appointed. I can't tell you how important that is. If a restaurant doesn't clean their restroom, they don't clean their kitchen either.

A star for good coffee, a star for friendly service, but unfortunately nothing for the pastries. The croissants were heavy, sticky-doughy, and even the top layer was barely flaky- they looked like Safeway bakery items but even worse on the inside. If these weren't frozen or prepackaged altogether, I have a hard time believing they weren't made from a store bought Pillsbury-style sheet of dough. I'm really surprised at all the glowing reviews for pastries and think I must have caught them on a seriously off morning.

This is the best coffee shop in Fredericksburg in my opinion! The coffee was hands down the best tasting, the pastries were delicious and fresh and the store itself is great. We ordered several coffees and pastries and everyone in our party said how great it was. This place has a wide selection of offerings and indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very helpful. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place for others.

I stopped in because I had seen them on food network and was excited to try them out. I would have to say their lemon bundt came was dry and not very good. Nothing bundt cakes is better. If your looking for a great bakery in Fredericksburg go to the little German Bakery instead their fresh apple crisps were amazing and warm.

Nice little bakery in Fredericksburg Texas. They have very tasty, and very tempting desserts in this place. We picked out several items, to eat that day, and the next. All of our choices looked good, and were delicious.Sorry I did not take any pictures.

Very friendly staff, coffee was hot which is very unusual.

I’m 100% gluten free due to health issues. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to go in and order a muffin from somewhere. I ordered the gluten free blueberry muffin and the chocolate chip!! They were both absolutely delicious and the perfect texture! Didn’t taste gluten free at all!

Love the chicken salad, great staff, supper friendly, thank you for the smiles as we popped in 5 minutes before closing. Lemon bundt cake yummy, mini cherry pie superb.

Coffee was great, food was good! Walking distance from our hotel, very convenient!
