Good Foundation Fredericksburg

When I think of a small town coffee shop, Good Foundation FBG is what I imagine. The owner, Shelby, takes pride in the quality of her products and it shows. The shop is cozy and welcoming with comfy seating and local art. Each cup of delicious coffee is carefully brewed from local beans. I have been to a few yoga classes and a community art class at the shop and have walked out feeling better than when I walked in. I love poppin in for a visit when I pass through town and Good Foundation never disappoints.

A great place for coffee or yoga in Fredericksburg. Shelby is awesome and is welcoming to everyone. The iced latte with coffee ice cubes is a great way to cool off on a hot day. Best place to relax on Main St in Fredericksburg.

Fantastic latte in a neat little shop! Very friendly (even when you ask questions clearly answered on the menu 😆). Perfect spot for some coffee after some great BBQ next door. Will be back on the next visit!

We stopped in for coffee and had a great experience. Drip coffee and Americano were excellent and the barista spent a lot of time giving us recommendations for other places to visit during our stay in town. It was a great start to our day.

I have only been to Good Foundation for yoga once, but fully intend to go again! The space is very small, and sweet, and creates an intimate yoga setting where you can really quiet your mind. If you're wondering how the coffee/yoga space sharing works (like I was), the coffee shop is technically closed for the brief time yoga is happening.. so you don't need to worry about being interrupted by coffee talk! (The coffee is great too!)

Handcrafted coffee and tea beverages are perfectly created for you upon order. Shelby, the owner, promotes 2 coffee or tea offerings each month. Very creative. In May you can order a blooming tea. It is visually delightful to watch it brew and very appealing to your taste buds. Shelby offers yoga classes, about 10 per week. All levels can be accommodated. I highly recommend stopping by to check out what this great space offers.

Best coffee shop in the burg! Shelby is an absolute gem and love the coffee and yoga concept to start the day. An awesome activity booking bachelorette parties coming into town!

Highly recommend Good Foundation for both yoga and coffee! Classes are relaxed and fun. It's so nice to be able to start your morning with yoga and a great coffee drink. You will leave feeling great!

Shelby is such a positive force. Her yoga class was incredible and I left feeling super chill and happy. She is a must if you are already practicing yoga or want to try something new. I highly recommend Good Foundation Fredericksburg!
