I LOVE stopping to get biscuits and gravy here when I'm in the area. If they are out of biscuits, I get buttered toast. The gravy comes in a bowl, and there is a bit leftover. I think they give you a spoon, so you don't have to waste the leftovers. At least I don't! Just spoon it!!
Food here is always good and staff is always friendly! Only place to really get a real Breakfast in Franklin or a homestyle dinner. Dinners come with Mashed or Baked Potato, Texas Toast and a Trip to a really great Salad Bar. Prices are decent for the Quality of food. Not a fast food joint but also doesn't take forever to get your meal either, maybe if they were super busy, but it's usually not too crowded, mostly locals that know the food is great or maybe a traveler at the Motel in town.
Very friendly helpful employees. The burger was great. Was amazed that they handmade their hamburger patties. The food was great and the waitress was very attractive. Overall great dining experience and would definitely go there again. Have heard that they have an awesome chicken fried steak and baked potato. If ever in Franklin TX give them a try. They are also a small hotel. Thank you guys for the great service and food
In law of Miller.. always like ride horse and beach nearby. Climates warm thank Oklahoma. Huh. I felt they are doing odd to pick up there she's.... Want learn trading house. U lucky
The owner is a great person to get to know. I hope she enjoys the awesome catfish. All you can eat on Friday. Also served daily. Let her know the CATFISH GUY reccomend her great food.
Went for the buffet option, not all you can eat, heads up. Had one pice of meatloaf, which was good, and a salad as my sides. I was charged for a full plate lunch and a salad.... That's insane. Maybe just don't come to this town, because there's nothing here.
I thought it was called Pioneer Cafe but regardless the breakfast we had was Great and the cook know how to make eggs over medium!! Waitress Shirley was very good and friendly and turned out to be kinfolk!

Some pretty good homestyle cooking. I regularly used to eat here every Friday and ate the fried catfish, was rarely disappointed.
Wanting a good home cooked meal for a ok price? I'd give the place a try.
