Sons of Liberty Coffee

I’ve been here a great number of times the past few years. The drinks are pretty hit or miss, some great some average. I’ve seen a few other reviews comment on rude attitudes from some employees, which I agree I’ve noticed before. I think for sure still check this place out (there isn’t a great variety of coffee shops downtown, so you might as well). But of the utmost importance, do NOT buy food items from them. It’s all overpriced and it’s generic grocery store pre-packaged kind of fare. It’s nothing unique enough or of good, fresh quality for a coffee shop like this to have.

Had the Oat chata with a shot of espresso, it was really great! Service was awesome as well, would definitely recommend going here.

This place is great for espresso and pastries. Their crossaint are sweet and flaky and they serve them warm if you want.

A selection of tees and candles might also pique your interest here. Pour overs are made in a kalita wave, so fines are removed from the brew and you can expect a very high clarity in your brew.

Park in the building behind and access the back entrance to escape the traffic of Lancaster Ave

The coffee is excellent, the service is great, and there is plenty of seating.

Great place, friendly staff, homey environment. You can even request board games to play if you want!

Delicious beef empanadas with chimichurri sauce. Great place to stop when hungry in downtown.

I normally don’t write reviews about places but this coffee shop is amazing. I have been there multiple times now. Great atmosphere for students like myself to go and study. Very open, urban design, that is not overwhelming at the same time. The service was excellent. The staff is very friendly and engaging. The coffee is AMAZING! Definitely found my new study spot and home away from home for the remainder of my law school career. 10/10 hand down. It’s unlike any coffee shop I’ve visited in Fort Worth.

I got a Macha and it was great. Service was fast and friendly.
