Javier's Cafe

Great food! Great and friendly service.

We were passing through on the way back to Houston and found this cafe. LOVED it. Farm fresh eggs, homemade biscuits and gravy, the migas were delicious. Great service!

Pecan waffles, ultimate skillet, coffee, homemade biscuits. Get these and you will not be disappointed. This place is super cool and worth the trip into ferris from the highway if passing through and you want breakfast.

Chicken Fried Steak was good, real mashed potatoes, and pinto beans were good. Good lunch place, but takes awhile.

Love the food home style cooking and the service was outstanding will definitely come back here again

Javier's catering is always awesome. The chicken and green beans were delicious, but the mashed potatoes took the prize. I highly recommend them.

During a recent 6 week trip in the USA Ferris and Javier's Cafe were a highlight. Driving from DFW to Houston, this place was lovely refuge. Humble, welcoming staff, good food, genuine. Perhaps I need to get out more, but thanks to Javier's for a nice surprise meal. Don't be fooled by the abandoned look of the town and cafe. Javier's is open and a joy.

Amazing food. Great atmosphere. My only complaint is I wish they were open more hours.
