Pleasantly surprised! Was in town visiting my parents and was told about this place. The food was excellent, and the coffee menu was extensive, the service was very friendly as well. It makes me sad to read some of these reviews. Some people are so critical of small business but will support large chains over and over. I'm glad you didn't have a big screen showing a game, I wanted a peaceful space to grab food and coffee. Was never expecting a Buffalo Wild Wings. Wishing you much success! Will be telling more people about this shop!

Ok so this place is probably good for hot coffee and pastries only , I got a lunch plate and felt robbed by the price for what I got served, I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, looked like a kids meal ,the bread was hard as a rock , the chicken salad no flavor, so bland, I tried to eat it but I couldn’t, fries were good ,my iced coffee was ok but the ice melted to quick and I only tasted the milk ,no strong notes of espresso or coffee, I’ve been around Texas and have visited many different shops , I did not leave happy and the place wasn’t that busy for my food to be so blah, I’ll probably visit again in a month or two, I had high hopes for this coffee shop in this little town .

The place and food are 10/10! The times I’ve gone, I get the tiger tea and matcha, both good! The area is spacious, calm, and clean! Elsa needed a place like this. Recommend to anyone skeptical of this place you won’t regret it.

Mom & I had the carne guisada plate & chicken bacon sandwich with a can of coke & cup of lemonade (which was great with sparkling water). They were both good though we liked the carne guisada better. I liked the bread on the sandwich.
My mom got 2 empanadas, I tasted them. We wouldn't buy them again. My mom from a baker's point of view didn't like the crust. I thought the crust was bland. The filling was ok. For this, we paid ~$36 😳
To go, I got a "blue eyes drink." Menu description reads: pea flower tea, coconut cream & drizzle of La Lechera.
It was $6.23 after tax 😳 it tastes like a strong coconut milk & I'd pay $2 tops for it.
I love that we have a cafe like this in this area. Love the look and large space. Staff was friendly.
I would go back and try more things. Definitely will buy the sparkling lemonade again.

Great place and great food, not to mention the atmosphere. Cool, chilled and laid back feelings being there. Very nice place. When there, it feels like you're somewhere else. Will definitely be going back when in the area. Worth the detour.

My wife and I have been coming to Betuzas on occasion for months, now. It’s definitely our “go-to” brunch spot whenever we feel like enjoying some good food, great coffee, and staying close to home. Their chilaquiles are some of my favorite, and their pastries are so satisfying. It’s always a great experience, and we’ll keep coming back regularly.

I tried their "blue eyes" tea and it was amazing. The cheese muffins are delicious as well. Overall atmosphere is modern and welcoming and restrooms are clean (a big plus)!

The place has a nice and cute atmosphere. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They came by our table to make sure everything was perfect. We got chilaquiles with red sauce and it was good. We also tried the orange sunrise refresher which was delicious and not overly sweet. My husband had the caramel macchiato and he said it was very creamy. It was worth the drive to Elsa.
