Staff is friendly. They usually will have someone take your order in the drive thru before you get to the window in order to keep the line moving. Cute indoor and outdoor decor. Specialty drinks are the best in town.

Love this cute little place!!! It's a hit or miss on the breakfast croissant, sometimes they are a little too toasted 😉 . The atmosphere is great, comparable pricing for the products. Easy access and decent service!

This was my first experience with CJ' s coffee because my friend has been raving about them. Brenden came to the car, took our order and payment and when we got to the window, NO wait!! Great customer service, excellent coffee. Goodbye Starbucks, hello CJ's!! I'm hooked already.

This eloquent but humble coffee shops slash restaurant is very welcoming and the service is infallible. As a matter of fact when we wanted to have a specialized Bean of coffee they not only crush it for us but allowed us to French Press our own coffee and showed us how to do it. Besides the service being wonderful this quaint little coffee shop in the middle of Denison Texas serves some of the best coffee and best food I have ever tasted. I highly recommend this coffee shop as a place to stop while in Denison.

Presently, I have only TWO absolute favorite coffee shops here in north central Texas. One of them is in downtown Wylie and the other one is in downtown Denison. I refuse to step foot in those chain store hack coffee shops that begin with the letter "S". Rather, I search out those wonderful "mom and pop" coffee shops that are much more inviting with much, much better products...and besides, I believe in supporting the locally owned independent stores as much as possible.
CJ's, which used to be "Country Java" is in downtown Denison a few doors down from the historical Rialto Theater. When the weather is good, you can sit outside underneath the covered patio, relax and watch life slowly go by on Main Street, or go inside and sit in the fun and comfortable atmosphere. They have a drive-up "to go" window.
If you have to use the restroom, it's outside just past the drive-up window. The restroom is kept very clean.
They have an excellent choice of coffees, teas, smoothies, and my favorite: Hot chocolate. You can order from their impressive menu of food that's listed on the chalk board on the wall behind the counter. Their salads, soups and sandwiches are fresh made and very tasty. Their desserts are very good, too.
The staff is very friendly and sincerely glad to see you.
I absolutely love this place and go there every chance I get. Just wished they'd stay open later in the evenings.

My favorite thing from CJ’s has always been their strawberry cake. It’s a unique twist on the traditional. The recipe belonged to the original owner. Well.... they’ve changed the recipe 😞 It is nothing like it used to be. The cream cheese layer at the bottom always blended in as part of the cake, now seems to be just an afterthought. Too bad. Some things are perfect just the way they are/were.

I've been going here for about 6 years now. I visit most mornings. Absolutely by far my favorite place and by choice only place I get coffee. The food is fantastic. There are many options from pastries and oatmeals to soups, sandwiches, salads, deserts and lots more. The place is always clean with a amazing and polite staff ready to greet and assist you. With the best lattes, and Fraps around you can expect a wait time on occasion but with the well trained and organized staff its not more than 10 to 15 minutes on a busy day. Everyone I have informed of this delicious cafe becomes a regular customer. So rather you looking for a nice comfortable invironment to sit and read, tackle some buisness or school work, or just relax, do yourself a favor and let CJ's crew do what they do best.
