Black Cherry Kiss
Love this black owned coffee bar! There is a white baby grand piano, drinks are named after some of the greatest black musicians and singers. Owner is personable and friendly and features brunch and local artist and musicians to play. Love it! Definitely worth checking out!

Saturday morning I would definitely recommend Soiree for a nice ambience, Jazzy (Nmandi the Saxophonist) , sexy, and mellow spot. 😋 This was my first time and I ordered the lavender mimosas & chicken and blueberry waffles. Now I must say the chicken was on point, so much so I ate all of them, but the blueberry wasn't. I was going to chunk this one up as a loss, but the manager came to check on us. She truly cared about my experience and what I didn't like about the waffle. Guys she got them to remake the waffle (she made it plain this time) and she even added a piece of their juicy piece of chicken with it. She turned an ok experience to a really memorable one. She took out the time to check on me and make certain that I was happy 😊 This is customer service at its finest!

This place is amazing. Good vibes, great live music. Our barista Grey was the best. He was so friendly, fast, and efficient.

Great spot, the Lena Horne was delicious. I love how the drinks were named after fous African American people. It was a nice find to wind down my day with my bae. We will be back! Wish they were open a bit later

my favorite drink is the Lena Horne (Iced) The owner is nice & cares about your feedback, the place is really pretty too! I live at this apt building and see this place stays busy specially weekends. Definitely recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would for this one. I was in town for a business trip and staying at a charming AIRBNB down the road. This place has an amazing vibe. You are immediately greeted with the owner's friendly smile when you walk through the door. He is very personable and makes a mean coffee. I went there 2x for coffee and breakfast and to get a little work done before my first meeting. I highly recommend checking this place out and supporting the local business versus Starbucks.

It’s sad when the “support a black business” isn’t always the way to go..I'm all about supporting businesses with excellent customer service is my motto regardless of race or culture I like to support black businesses but i will not support a black business owner with a rude attitude with poor service. I came there the second time with my family thinking this time it will be better the first time i came it was ok the shrimp and grits was not that good but the older male waiter was very nice.. so i said i’ll try this spot again with the fam this time i was gong to try the chicken and waffles,,unfortunately I didn’t stay to eat and asked for a full refund because the dark skin short chubby male owner was a freaking a-hole very rude and terrible customer service he will never get my business again and i am part of a group with thousands of members was going to do a group brunch here but they lost my business the male owner need to learn how to treat his customers or you won’t stay in business too long I see why a lot of black businesses fail because of this type of customer service we ended up having brunch at breadwinners and of course the customer service was excellent and food was good…

I wanted to get out of the house and try something different that my usual brunch at the cheesecake factory. I wish I had to went to where I normally go. The pictures of the food posted looked really good but none of it was on the menu. I literally paid 16.99 for bacon and eggs. I wasn't impressed. All the tables were reserved inside so I sat outside in the wind 🥴. I don't think I'll return. It's an experience I could've done without.
