Mokah Coffee & Tea

This is a Funky Find. Location is near Deep Ellum area. Awesome service. Clean and spacious. The patio was great. Prompt service. Hot mocha cappuccino was delicious. I will be back Saturday for a kolachie.

Great location for an afternoon meeting. They have a great chi tea late. House coffee is nicely brewed. The seating arrangement is limited but the high tables and the deck outside are great on any sunny Texas afternoon.

Very friendly and accommodating. This was our first time and we were welcomed with warmth and gratitude. The patio area is perfect for morning conversation and reflection. The coffee is fresh and delicious.

Tasty frappe!

I like the spot a lot, but the address is misleading. I was half a block down Taylor behind the entrance, but parking and entrance actually face Malcolm X. There were no signs or indications that it was around.

I've only been the once and I'm very particular about my working environment. I could hear everyone much too well indoors so moved outside. Their workspace/patio outdoors is lovely. I really really liked it.

I would like to go again, but dang those hours just don't fit my schedule well.

Very comfortable and quite hip (in the good way) along with an adjacent are gallery and outside patio seating. If that's not enough, prices are akin to Starbucks. But c'mon - who would rather go to Starbucks? This will be my regular Cafe from here on out. My only complaint is I wish they were open a little later. They close at 7 and 2 on the weekends which is confusing. But hey, most cafes in the area close at 4 or even 2.

As far as the coffee, I got an Americano and it was as good as any other Americano in the area. I look forward to trying other drinks.

The staff. Well, I've only been there once so far but the two baristas with whom I interacted were quite jovial, pleasant and just cool peeps.

Next time I'm in there, which will likely be tomorrow, I'll snap a few pictures.

Absolute best Cortado w/ brown sugar in the area. Wish their hours were more extended, but still the absolute best location and best drip coffee around. I'm a coffee shop connoisseur and love to explore new places and I keep coming back to this place.

Beautiful people in the coffee shop that goes against what was the Lord's will by having vendors inside the church.

Also I'm pretty sure their priest isn't one that's aligned with my beliefs because of something that was said

This is one of the best coffee shops I've been to and easily the best coffee joint to work in. Great coffee, decent cookies, great wifi, awesome space, good music at appropriate volume, comfortable seating, and great vibe. If I lived in Dallas I would live here, but alas I am a Portlander stuck in Brooklyn and visiting Dallas. Cool spot. I am pleasantly surprised.

Friendly staff; great environment/atmosphere for meetings, networking, studying, or alone time to read or reflect... the coffee is excellent as well. Would return.
