Merit use to by my favorite coffee spot. I will drive 25 mins into town to get my coffee every weekend. Now I will just go to Dutch bros closer to me. I was disappointed to find out they charge an extra $1 for using almond milk instead of regular. I would use regular but I am lactose and it is not good for me. So I have to suffer the extra charge because of my medical condition. Shame on the company! I will not spend $7 dollars for a 12 oz caramel latte with almond milk. That’s crazy! It only got saved by a two star instead of a one because the workers are nice, energetic and friendly.

With the socially distant seating arrangement you have plenty of personal space to work quietly. The latte was nice and the service was fast. Wish there was more going on with the ambiance and decorations but that doesn’t take away from this being a good coffee shop.

The coffee is great and 90% of the staff is delightful. The place you’ll want to get coffee in the area

Every time I come here the employees are often rude and this last time I ordered a hot chocolate and the drink they gave me was pure water with a little syrup.
So sad that the other merit locations have better quality and service.

Sweet coffee shop! Pleasant working environment, great coffee, and fun treats (try their pop tarts!)

Great coffee, usually have seating, and bottomless drip if you get a mug and stick around - hard to beat that in Dallas!

This is a good place to study and food is decent. However, I have been here multiple times and employees are always chit chatting with each other and taking a long time to make coffee because they're too busy talking to each other.

Formerly known as "Local Coffee". This was my go-to spot in San Antonio and then I stumbled upon it in Dallas. They have the best cold brew in my opinion. Add some cream + simple syrup and that's all you need.

This coffee shop, ahem, definitely merits a visit. They absolutely have the best matcha I've ever found, the pastries are delightful and I enjoyed the biscotti so much. These folks really care about their product. The front of house was spotless and even though we were loud in a fairly quiet space, we didn't seem to be bothering those around us. The merchandise is also really cool, great prices on every day use items, and you can get tacos there for breakfast most days!

Nice environment. The pour over and special drink are very worthy to try!
