Nice place but it needs attention. Front door, inside and outside seating need to be clean. This isn’t a time to keep eating areas visibly dirty.

Stopped by to see how there dark roast compared to my stand by. "on the road joe"...
The cup was ground and brewed fresh to order, but was not quite as strong as Sbks.Pike place inside was basically the same scene as any other coffee shop...
They do seem to be promoting safety and social distancing...

After many years of being in the specialty coffee industry it's always nice going back and visiting the latest shops.
I will preface that the staff here are all sweethearts and their service is impeccable.
The atmosphere is cozy with some interesting design choices some better than others.
But my qualm is with the coffee. The espresso was bitter. Very minor hints of notes attempted to shine through but were muddled with ashy, and burnt flavor notes. There's a lack of variety as well, you would think a place referring to themselves as "craft coffee" would have more than just a house blend on espresso.
For the people of the suburbs this is exemplary, but for those that have been around, they’ll know.
Why be enough when you can be great.
My suggestions?
- At least one other option for your espresso
- Take your time to properly train your baristas, you're doing them a disservice and they’re the ones that have to bear with your customers. This includes proper steaming, dialing in regularly, etc.
Just a former barista sharing their thoughts though. Do what you will at the end of the day it’s your business.

Terrible place. Expensive and takes very long. Employees chatting to customers for too long forgetting other customers that are waiting for their coffee. I will never comeback.

The best coffee in all of Houston area. Great place to work too. My favorite is the lavender soy latte! Or the iced latte in summer time.

Great place to make new friends or just meet people you already know. Coffee is delicious and the service is excellent!

My iced mocha was awesome! So I was in the area a second time and got another, still awesome. But the pastry was not good at all. No matter. I'll be back to try other coffees drinks. I like this place.

Great coffee place to hang out with friends. Most of the Bridgeland folks visit this place.
