Fun local spot with good food, good coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere. Skip the chain coffee down the street and support local!
Extra bonus: A guy on the patio was practicing his ukulele, and a local vendor was selling jewelry. Nice vibe.

We went to Corpus Christi for the first time, this last weekend and are so glad we chose Island Joes instead of the national chain. IJ's coffee is ultra-smooth with excellent flavor.
The BF got an Americano each time and loved it, while I tried an Almond Milk Mocha (fantastic, mildly bitter, mildly sweet with real cocoa flavor, not just chocolate syrup sugar) and a Cold Brew (smooth and mild).
We'll be back.

We were visiting from out of state and heard good things about Island Joe's but unfortunately when we went they were either out of some food or couldn't make it because they close the kitchen at 2 pm. The staff were very nice and apologized. We ordered a coffee and some smoothies which were good.

This was a great little place to grab some coffee and a cinnamon roll 😁. Service was awesome!! I'm from Wichita KS and was visiting for vacation. I'll definitely be coming back next time I come.

Great spot for coffee or a pastry before your day at the beach. Dog friendly, great staff, fantastic coffee and if you’re going to sit for awhile, a wonderful outdoor beach view upstairs in the breezeway as well as good views inside. Such a unique place with the containers, surfboard tables, etc.

Super interesting building made from shipping containers. The staff was really nice. A bit disappointing that they were out of their bagged, roasted-in-house, whole bean coffee & didn't really know when they might have more. A staff member did manage to rustle me up a bag from somewhere, though.
They use hand pressed espresso machines, which I thought was really cool. Impressive photography by the owner throughout.
If I lived in the area, I could see myself spending a lot of time here.

Island Joe’s is a great addition to North Padre Island. I’ve been coming here ever since their first location. They have great coffee, eats, smoothies and consistently friendly service. I finally had w chance to come to the new location, where they built it from multiple storage containers. Not only does it look cool, it is very unique! They even have rooms upstairs for rent.
I’ve always preferred local over chains and Island Joe’s is proof why local is better.

My sister and I came through today and ordered two drinks. We ordered our drinks with no whip. We waited in line in the drive thru for well over 10 min and there was only one person in line ahead of us. By the time we got to the window our fri-joes were waiting but they had whip. We decided to take them anyway because we didn’t want to wait for them to remake them. The customer service was excellent and the drinks looked beautiful when we got them but they tasted so horrible. They weren’t frozen by the time we got them. The last couple times we have tried this place over the past year, the drinks have not been good. We keep trying to give this place another chance because they were good at one point but today was the final time.
