Went here last Saturday for brunch, it was fantastic if we didn’t live like 3 hrs away we’d be back all the time. The Jamaican me crazy coffee was perfection, we had mimosas those were tasty too. They have tons of options, the turkey sausage fyi is just ground seasoned turkey in a bowl though. Really good but just to let ya know ahead of time it’s not like patty’s or links. My husband had some French toast and that was delicious too! Cute little place too, highly suggest!

Hester’s is a wonderful fusion of coffee shop, bakery, breakfast diner, and sandwich shop. The service is always friendly, and the quality of food is top notch. It’s definitely a family favorite with two locations (formerly three), but I usually end up at their 6-points location. The coffee selection is always nice, usually with a featured coffee. Today they had a Cinnamon, Almond, Chocolate blend that was really delicious. They also cater events and just like dine-in, the quality and service is always great!

Excellent place to grab some delicious grub. Nice variety of items on the menu … from traditional breakfast to lunch items Hester’s is a nice restaurant to get a way from the norm.. has plenty of seating but it does get busy especially during weekend mornings… it most definitely worth checking it out .

The pancakes were not the best, but the Griddle Toast (French Toast type) was amazing! Plating on the waffles was pretty and the a waffles were average, not bad though. The coffee was very good, highly recommend the bottomless coffee. Mugs were a little small but you can get as much as you want!! The garden salad has a very strong smelling dressing but the taste is compliments the salad. Recommend visiting if you're in the area!

Ok I will preface this review with saying that my wife and I are not typical hipster or foodie types, but this place came highly recommended as the best breakfast joint in the city. My food was barely palatable and my wife's food was too "healthy." Dessert was ok. Overall my general attitude is meh but I drop automatically when a restaurant serves single use beverages like a can of soda. Hard pass on returning

I was looking forward to this trip, I recently moved to Corpus and heard that this was a great place. Apon arrival an older gentleman greeted us he was very kind and attentive. But as soon as he was gone the rest of the staff did not engage. After looking for the menus which were located by another door, we finally got in line and ordered. When ordering the young man at the counter did not speak up enough so I had to constantly ask what he said he also had an earphone in one ear. Then he and another co worker continued to complain about another customer as I am trying to place my order. The food was not worth the price the fruit on my plate was very dry not fresh at all. I ordered the eggs Benedict I was kinda disappointed to be honest. I hate to be so hard but the cost was not worth the experience and the quality of the food.

Stopped by Hester's Cafe after a recommendation from a friend. We were looking for breakfast on our way out of town. This location was dog friendly, (covered outdoor seating) fast service and some great breakfast options. Recommended stop in Corpus Cristi.

This is a cool breakfast place, they have plenty of seating inside and outside and it was packed when I came with my family. We ordered a lot and everything we tried was great. I got the Monterrey Quiche and it tasted more like an egg than the other ingredients; after a few bites, I couldn't finish it. They also have a store with souvenirs and furniture.

Today I had the pumpkin nut bread. It was good; moist, sweet, but hardly any nuts. Bottomless strong coffee is the best! I really like Hester's for its ambiance and the fact that it's a good 1.2 mile walk for me. The food is generally good if a bit pricey. I wish they had a few less sweet, less fattening choices. A plain bagel, croissant, toast, bran muffin. Oh well.

I don't think Hester's reads reviews at all as I've never had a response from them whether it's an excellent, good, fair, or poor review.

Today I was disappointed in the cleanliness. My table and the one next t me weren't wiped down. I wet my napkin and cleaned mine. I put my empty plate on table next to me to see if theyd wipe it down when they picked up plate, but NOPE. And a young fella was loading his arms too full of plates and dropped oranges and strawberries, knew it, and never recovered them. After 10 minutes, I picked them up because they were right in walking path. Wouldn't want someone to slip!! Yes, they were busy.

Yes, I do love Hester's. 4 or 5 stars normally. Not today.
