Coral Bean Cafe

I’ve been to Coral Bean all week to work on my laptop; I love the atmosphere, the music, the people, the tacos and the coffee. I brought my parents back to try the weekend brunch and we all enjoyed it. The candied bacon tacos were my favorite. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in corpus. Loved it! Thank you to the owners.

My expectations were pretty high after reading the reviews with everyone raving about the coffee. We were looking for somewhere with good coffee that also had breakfast food, so I was excited to find this place. But it didn’t live up to all the hype. From the outside it looks very sad. I almost thought they had gone out of business when I first pulled up. Yes the inside is decorated cute but everything else was average at best. Almost every single food item was marked out on the menu, so we had very few options, only 2 kinds of toast and breakfast tacos. We got cinnamon toast, avocado toast and 2 different kinds of breakfast tacos. The cinnamon toast was good but nothing special. The avocado toast was mashed avocado on top of toast. Nothing else, no seasoning or anything. Very bland. The breakfast tacos were scrambled eggs in a tortilla with one strip of bacon laid on top. Very little thought and effort were put into these dishes. Our iced lattes were nothing special. If you are looking for a place to get a coffee and relax or work for awhile, this would be a good place but make sure you eat before you come.

Coral Bean is the most artisan true craft restaurant I have EVER been to. The food is always beautiful & delicious. The presentation is gorgeous. Everything is fresh. It takes a while, but worth the wait. Also a bit pricey, but worth it.

Went to Coral Bean Cafe for
the first time today. The service was outstanding. I went with a Breve based on the owner’s suggestion. I’m a coffee FANATIC. I drink coffee all day every day. This is one of the best I’ve ever enjoyed! Can’t wait to return

Ok...just moved to CC & .there is a reason this shop is rated so high....best Americano I have ever had (and trust me, I've had MANY). Smooth Lo-Fi playing over the speakers and just a really great space for meeting someone, business, studying, or just hitting pause in your day! Great job guys....keep it up

I love their hot chocolate and the home made caramel sauce. You gotta try the TACOS! They have chorizo and egg with smoked gouda and a bacon egg taco. SO GOOD. The place is beautiful and comfy.

Went in on Tuesday afternoon. Not crowded. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Service quick. Prices average. Drinks: brewed coffee and mocha...not great. Coffee tasted weak instant and mocha looked cute but tasted like a hot chocolate. A little disappointed for the price

Excellent place to actually sit down and grab brunch from their extended menu on weekends. Their staff and their music selection always put me at ease. Even stopping in for an occasional coffee is an awesome experience. Definitely a contender for top coffee shop in Corpus Christi.

Best full-scale coffee shop in Corpus. They use a local roaster (also the best in town) called Driftwood that roasts great, flavorful, specialty coffee. The food and other drinks are also incredible, and the service is always top tier. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, they didn't have any food while we were there as well as a very limited drink menu availability, no mocha. Nitro coffee had very low quality flavor, and their craft tea was ok, just super sweet.
And staff just seemed like they wanted to be anywhere other than there and wanted us not to be idiots and know what they were out of. Hopeful this was a one time thing since the other reviews were quite positive, but I would not choose to return there on purpose.
