While I'm sad to see the old place not make it during covid. The new place has filled in the gap even better. We roll into town a few times a year hunting and visiting friends and while prices might seem exspensive to some. Just come try a place like this in dfw it would be a lot higher. Food was very good both times I ate here over the last few days. Service was good as well. We will keep supporting local places as much as possible and see you soon on our next hunt.

If you want to go to a consistently good place, I would recommend going here. They are honestly the best restaurant I have eaten at in Colorado city! The quesadillas are to die for, and I have never had tomato basil soup that tasted so good! Most importantly, the coffee is fantastic! If you want something pretty and sweet, I recommend the strawberry and cream frappe, or if you want something more understated but still as yummy, I recommend a vanilla and cinnamon breve.

Good place to eat. The food tasted very good and the price is very reasonable. I ordered The Cuban and it tasted good was plenty to fill you up. Mine did not have the slaw on it for some reason, but was still good. Service was ok. I will definitely visit again.
Update:
Went back for breakfast and had a horrible experience. We placed our order, got our drinks (water) and then waited 45 minutes and finally tracked down our waitress (since she hadn't been back to our table) to ask about our food. She had forgotten about our order and even about us seeing that she hadn't been back to our table for refills or anything. My wife finally got her cappuccino, which she said was very good, but we waited another 15 minutes for our food and it finally was brought to us by a different waitress. At that point we had to ask this other waitress for refills (still hadn't been refilled once) and had to ask for our silverware. We finally got to eat, but they completely forgot to bring my pancake. Our ticket was never brought to us, so I had to go to the front counter for the ticket and explain my experience. Honestly, after waiting over an hour to get out food and only getting one refill of our water (and we had to ask for that), and not getting out complete order, I would have figured our ticket would have been forgeten as well in an effort to make it right, but I was wrong again. They took one plate off our ticket. Their excuses was that they were busy. Well being busy doest justify totally forgetting about a table and then not bringing out the complete order or offering refills or even putting silverware on the table. The food was honestly not good either. The breakfast ham is the lunch meat ham from Walmart. I got one sausage patty, I would expect a plate called the "Triple Breakfast" would come with two patties. Needless to say, I will not be going back for breakfast, nor could I recommend the breakfast to anyone.

Ate there at 11:30 got food poisoning symptoms 30 minutes later and the rest of the day. While checking out, seen the grill in the back looks real dirty won’t be trying again since it ruined my whole day good service though but won’t trust again.

We were in town to see family and were lucky enough to find Cactus Coffee Co! The breakfast coffee and pastry was such a pleasant surprise that we came back later in the day and brought some of our family. There is a perfect area to sit together and talk. The service was good and the caramel lattes were amazing. A great atmosphere!

Went in and got an iced vanilla latte, it was the best one I’ve ever had! Had the sweetest staff and a welcoming environment!

The food was absolutely horrible. The Service was great, but it was outrageously priced for a family of 4 eating breakfast was an 80 dollar ticket. The coffee was burnt and not good at all my omelet tastes like it was made with lunch meat. Wouldnt recommend.

Waitresses need to learn the menu, was charged for an extra egg she said the item I ordered only came with one. After double checking the menu it said 2 eggs. The potatoes were not cooked all the way and the bacon was not crispy (as ordered) seamed to have been cooked in the oven and warmed up in the microwave. But on a positive note the eggs were cooked correctly. They seem to be trying to be a New York coffee shop In small Texas town.
