Solid place for coffee and repairs! Great atmosphere for studying, and got my bike fixed up quickly! Would recommend to anyone in Bryan/Cstat

This is a great place if you have bike issues. I am always able to get my bike fixed when I have problems. Come for your bike, stay for the coffee and the atmosphere as they do a great job when it comes to their hospitality

Atmosphere:
Before entering the building you are welcomed by a sign BCS BICYCLES and upon entry you are hit with an aroma of coffee and an influx of bicycles of all styles and colors. On the left on the counter you see a coffee machine with lots of snacks, towards the center is where you can't miss any of the bikes, and then on the right side you have a seating area that one can just relax and do some hw, read magazines, syphon through many stickers or even having some of their coffee. A bike shop and coffee shop clearly aligns with what I saw.
Service:
Although I haven't purchased a bicycle yet, Penelope was the epitome of what customer service should be. From asking what brought you into the store, assistance on any bike purchase/model as well as trialing the many bikes they have there. I came in today to find out why my bicycle tire was flat and within the first minute they were able to pinpoint the issue and bike was ready in no time. Within that time she also gave me some knowledge on my own bike and made me aware that it was not the appropriate size for me and began to show me many styles but appropriate size for me. She then insisted for me to try one before I tried my own bike and the difference was shocking. Soon after she then gave me the opportunity to try 3 other bikes if need be ranging from a road, hybrid and high end gravel bike. Each were different and appreciated each of the quirks of each.
Quality:
From the beginning, I asked why they didn't carry Huffy and Mongoose in which she gave me the clear answer as to why they didn't and one word came to mind ... Quality. Just seeing the build, feeling the weight, and then the ability to try it out, definitely made my Huffy feel obsolete.
Would highly recommend this bike shop for any bicycle purchase or questions regarding bikes in general. They will be receiving my business in the near future for sure.

The guys at roosters are great! Fair prices and fast turnaround. No corporate bike shop blabber- just some people that like bikes.

Really good bike shop. New owners are very friendly and knowledgeable! Converting this to a coffee shop as well, excited for the renovations to be done. Fair prices! Putting in an outdoor patio.

I brought in my Onewheel hub and new Hoosier tire and they were able to air it up quickly. I tried doing it by myself but could not get the tire bead to set properly. I was told they might start offering a Onewheel tire change service so I would recommend checking them out. The staff here is very nice, caring, and knowledgeable.

The bike mechanics are super knowledgable and helpful! Affordably priced and will fix anything that goes wrong with a repair

Super convenient bike repairs & coffee near campus, with an extensive selection of bike tools and accessories. Also, a quiet place to study.
Repair time and new bike availability are pretty affected by the new semester, so I’d avoid small repairs and purchasing in the first few weeks of school.

This bike shop/cafe fusion has a great staff who tried to help me repair my handlebar grips free of charge. It didn't work, but was a nice effort, so I bought a pair of grips to replace them. The grips were reasonably priced, but the installation was ridiculously expensive for such a simple task. Just ask the price before you decide whether to have parts installed or DIY.

The bike repair people are some of the kindest you'll find in town. They'll explain to you what's happening, why it's happening, and how to prevent it next time.
