1541 Pastries and Coffee

This place makes very good Italian coffee. Their creme brulee and tiramisu are also on point. Support local!

In my personal opinion, the best coffee place in B/CS. Sometimes you need to wait a bit longer for your order but the quality of their cappuccino or turn-overs is worth it. If you are not in rush to work, but prefer a chill-out spot to chat and enjoy your coffee, that's definitely a good pick.

Owners are wonderful. Excellent assortment of desserts, including gluten-free options. be sure to go for fresh made macarons on Wednesdays and churros on Thursdays, both gluten-free as well.

Went to try their drinks and dessert, both were awesome. Cashier was nice and friendly. The prices were reasonable for the quality and service I received coming from a smaller, personally owned coffee shop.

Maybe the 4.5 star rating set my expectations too high, or perhaps I kept ordering things that they aren't known for but both times I went I was underwhelmed.

They only have breakfast sandwiches on the weekend....when people are not working. So I had a turnover on both occasions. They were fine, very flaky but nothing special. Coffee was good both times as well.

However the second time I visited, it took 25 minutes to pull out a turnover and a muffin from the case and bring it to the table. They weren't packed with people, just took a long time. I will probably choose another place for breakfast next time I am in the area.

AMAZING! This place is a wonderful place to meet friends and relax. There could be more furniture, but this coffee shop is fantastic for its products. I get the cafe mocha and it is so smooth I dont realize there is coffee in my cup. Also, if you are NOT a coffee person their Mexican Hot chocolate is a MUST TRY! Finally, their pastries are also out of this world. Who thinks of a pineapple turnover?! And I get that and the Apple turnover every time. SO good!

If you are a student, teacher, or family member, you MUST give this place at least one try. I love it and will always visit whenever I come back!

This place is very nice. I ordered an iced Chai and really enjoyed it. The workers were nice and welcoming. The inside was clean and provided comfortable seating. The waiting times were short as well. Recommend this place.

Quaint shop with friendly service, a good Americano and tasty pastry offerings. Only negative was the incredibly crass conversation going on a table over. But the actual music in the shop was good.

The best coffee and pastries that I have ever had. Alot of the desserts are even gluten free
