Generally a good crew of people working. If you want to know what's going on around town just stop in. The regulars are generally there discussing what work is being done in the area. Plus the owners are well knowing of the community.

All I ever eat is there patty melt but it is so good so I never want to try anything else when I go, my boyfriend always get the lone star burger he says it's the best he has ever had so I'd say they have a 5 star rating from us:)

My Mom and I often visit The Shade for its cafe. They have a large menus with a variety of yummy foods. My favorite is the patty melt and sweet potatoe fries. I highly recommend this cafe for any meal.

Good food at reasonable prices. The chicken fried steak is killer. They are a typical country store selling a hodgepodge of items needed in the country. They also have live bait and feed.

Love stopping by for a meal!
